Olivia was part of my childhood. So were Abba, Bee Gees, Elton John, Carpenters, Earth, Wind and Fire, Donna Summer, Kool And The Gang, and many others. Thank you, God!
I was too and never stopped. An absolute beauty, amazing voice, kind and compassionate, and a trailblazer in cancer research and care with her cancer center in australia. I was really torn up when I heard of her passing. I was driving home from work and it came on the news. Not a good time to have an emotional shock. To many legends we grew up with are leaving us, making us feel old and empty in today's turbulent world with lacklustre talent replacing the good stuff we remember.
I stumbled upon this sad news and my heart just sank. I'd been listening to her music on a daily basis via yt playlists, and this just hits me so hard! 😭😭😭😭 I'm 56, and as a painfully shy little black girl growing up in the ghettos of L.A., I've always loved listening to all her music. it had this way of touching me in my most emotionally vulnerable places. If that makes sense. I've always felt this incredible spiritual connection to her...so much so that to me, it feels like a big sis passed away. Such a magical, beautiful otherworldly angelic voice. Olivia will always be apart of the soundtrack of my life as well. Thank u so much for lending us ur beautiful talents for as long as u did. U will always have a place in my heart and soul, and ur songs will forever grace my ears. U fought a long and brave battle, now rest in Paradise sweetie.🙏🏽💗💗💗😇
I am absolutely devastated by her passing. Olivia has been a part of my life since I was 3 years old. Hearing this news just makes me much more sadder because she had fought so hard against breast cancer, and we have thought that she was winning the battle, the same battle that took her friend, and another childhood idol, Minnie Riperton in 1979. I can only hope that she'll that I love Olivia Newton-John, and I always will. I will listen to her music until my time comes. RIP.
The world in which we now bare witness to , is an evil place to be. The way people treat each other , the mess they leave behind opening car doors and tossing garbage , trucker throwing their urine jugs on the ground. I do believe now will be a time of Purging earth of the good and saving them from the hell awaiting the rest .
Sitting in the restaurant and heard this song, and remember how my Mom loved Olivia and her music. Haven't stopped listening since. Amazing artist and beautiful woman.
Have you ever been mellow from 1975 Was her biggest hit , Please Mr please 1975 And this song A little more love from 1978 Were just a few of her songs from the 1970s , She was way more pop in the 70s And all her songs from the little movie lol Just Kidding GREASE
@@theodoreritola7641 Thank you for giving the year for this song; I remember it so well and I was just trying to work out the year when I came across your comment 👍
Could not have said it better myself…. Every time I see her, or hear one of her songs I start smiling from ear to ear thinking about all the great memories that come rushing to my mind… R.I.P Olivia, truly one of a kind.
All "Woman" she was, absolutely beautiful..died way too soon.. Godspeed Olivia..until you give all of us fans a special concert in Heaven someday..All of us in the front row!
Me Too. I was 10yrs old when this gem hit the Radio. Hairbrush in one hand, lip syncing my heart out while boogie it down in front of a full length mirror💋 RIP Olivia🐨
This song has always been one of my favourite ones of hers yet it wasn't one of the more popular ones . Her work with elo was magic , in fact every thing this lady sung she put the magic into it
A Little More Love has abit more steel than Make A Move On Me but both supremely well love both.Olivias Drummer is wicked like the Guitarist aswell the Keyboardist is made for the camera he knew what hes doin puts the craze and giggles into it still pounding them Keyboards
If there was ever a soul who was sent down from Heaven...it was Olivia. She was always a friendly person...even though she was strickenly beautiful...and her vocals were UNMATCHED... Celebrities today seem cold and soulless when comparing them to Olivia's vibe...
If ever there were the most graceful and radiant fairies among female singers in our virtual music world, then Olivia was certainly one of the most beautiful 🥀.
Olivia at the top of her game...early 80's...untouchable queen of pop...those eyes, that hair...that voice. You never heard a bad word about her...just a goddess...RIP, ONJ👼👼💗💗💗
@@theodoreritola7641 she was an early 80’s pop princess as well starting with Xanadu, let’s get physical, magic and twist of fate. That’s how I’ll always remember her from my early teen years.
NO WAY Oliva was way more pop in the 70s 10 number 1 hits ,, And in the movie GREASE in 1978 ,, ,,And this song came out in 1978 ,,, She was a very pop 70s girl ,, Hands down
I saw Grease in the theater.. dating myself but I was really young.. like 7 or 8.. My brother j.. was like let's just watch it again.. Till what part? Till she comes out in the black? Lol
This song brings me to tears because it takes me back to a time when life was so much better. I was a HUGE fan growing up. I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to evolve with her music in my life. #RIPOlivia
Same here. My first job... first car... life was just opening up and a wonderful place to be. Now look at us. smh I only wish Elon Musk would create a time machine.
One can feel the pride of the band members of being led by such a talented, beautiful (and hot) woman!!! I can recognize back there on backup vocals the also talented Katie Kissoon.
Simple music can make you sing simple hug can make you feel better simple things can make you happy, i hope my simple Hello brings smile to your face..
Her passing means her music will explode. Good luck trying to buy any of her records anytime soon. Theyll be sold out for years, and everything from albums and T Shirts of her will cost twice as much !!!! Incredible irreplacable talent
I am a death metal head/death metalhead but one thing I always made room for was for the beautiful talented voice of Olivia Newton John I love her music she had a lot of class and she still does she's singing all these songs up in heaven now metal head R.I.P. Olivia
What a beautiful women she was. Broke a lot of young boys hearts in my generation. And what a beautiful voice she had. R.I.P Olivia. You will be surely missed.
Me too, but I had step-sisters. Back then all the genres were basically Awesome. Oddly, I feel they all died with the death of the "Jam Box". Those days were wonderful.
My heart is shattered to pieces . Olivia was a huge part of my youngest years and beyond. There was no girl my age who did not want to be Sandy or Kira. Rest in power Olivia, the world is a much dimmer place to have lost such a bright beautiful light.😭🙏🏻
Simple music can make you sing simple hug can make you feel better simple things can make you happy, i hope my simple Hello brings smile to your face..
Yes, they're pushing a bit too hard, which makes the smoothness and ease of Olivia's voice even more impressive. It also makes me wonder whether this performance was recorded in the studio.
I’m so heartbroken!!! Rest In Peace beautiful Olivia! Thank you for the amazing music, movies & your endless talent! You were a HUGE part of my childhood! Forever in my heart! 🕊💔🙏🏾
It's good that she's so famous people taking time to write things down about her that she deserves and she knows we all think of her being part of our lives the World has seen cause emotions and that we all feel it the Music is the most powerful force it's good we can reflect and she's a great artist that deserves that like many others will be in History thanks You Tube also to get our thoughts and opinions

Late 70s early 80s beauty charm call it jealousy with a voice and swag wish i had an inch of her talent.Shes 33 here crazy 29 when doin Grease thinking she was old no way.A few gems she has songs and that 2good
I remember a rash of guys "over-feeling" music, at the very beginning of the video craze. It was similar to the fun side of the 60s music scene. IMO, only guitar God Angus Young did it the coolest.
@frankied6440 she was a good person I believe as well. But that's pathetic to say she deserved more. Are you insane? There's people in this world who were given nothing in life. Shame on you
Simple music can make you sing simple hug can make you feel better simple things can make you happy, i hope my simple Hello brings smile to your face..
True, where the key changes were going, you could not guess first time you heard the song. Also the dramatic guitar twang was unique during the verses.
I've been a musician, and a music fan for over half a century. I've seen a lot of artists and music come and go. That is, still today, one of the coolest, sexiest, best sounding, most understated, casual but cool, vocal ear candy, music clips I've ever seen....and it's lip synched. She was an angel.
amen! and I give a harrumph for “the keyboardist” mention! his “relationship” with his keyboard seems a mirror reflection of the love/hate flow of this song😍😾
@@drivermxpedite3165the funny thing is that the backup girls are Olivia cause she sings her own background vocals to add that mystic charm to her music
My heart is truly saddened by the passing of Olivia Newton-John. I grew up on her music. After I heard she passed, I've been listening to her music and videos. I remember when Grease came out in '78, I watched it 5 days in a row. I will never get tired of the Grease soundtrack along with her other music. It's more important even now. RIP Olivia. You will be truly missed
Olivia is one of those all-too-rare singers who combines stunning sound, charming personality, and inner and outer beauty. I fell in love with her when I was 13, and today when I'm 55, I'm still in love with her. Olivia wishes you health and all the best in the world, in my name and in the name of everyone who feels this way like me
I idolized her! I used to "perform" these songs to the chairs in my living room!😁 I wanted to BE her! I'm 56 now, and these songs still make me feel like a kid! Such a beauty and such a legend!
Thank you, Sharon. Olivia is the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. One of the best singers I ever heard. No wonder she had the number one song for the entire decade of the 80s. And starred in one of the biggest movies of all time. Her transformation in Grease was much like that of Jerry Lewis in the Nutty Professor from Prof. Kelp to Buddy Love. She went from clean wholesome country girl to Rock and Roll Goddess in about one second. A real iconic moment in cinema. She will be missed and the world became a little more sad without her. God bless her family in this time of grief. Your comment was well said. Thank you .
Hello how are you doing today dear I hope all is well with you and your family? I have been happy all day because of this song keep reminding me of my late Dad
Newton-John's sweet and sincere tone of voice in all of her songs denotes hope that is reassuringly persuasive and soothing; her pitch of voice reaches deep into one's existence and coats our souls and hearts with a balsamic anesthetic supercharged with love and compassion.
She is and Sall continue to inspire and live on , This i truly Believe, she made it Home, For a Brief moment, I believe We could have all been Home a long time Ago, Take Me 2 the clouds above . Hallelujah, Thank You Father's , She lives still❤❤❤❤
