Xanadu is the soundtrack of the 1980 musical film of the same name, featuring the Australian singer Olivia Newton John and the British group Electric Light Orchestra (ELO).
The original LP release featured on side one the songs of Newton-John, and on side two the songs of ELO.
Although the film was a critical and commercial disappointment, the soundtrack was a worldwide success and received positive reviews from music critics. The hit singles "Magic" and "Xanadu", peaked at Number One in the United States and United Kingdom, respectively. Both singles also went to Number One in the Netherlands and Italy, respectively. It was the 5th most popular US soundtrack in 1981.

I wasn't talking about the dancers at all (although they're very beautiful). I was talking about the remix of this song. In my humble opinion, it's not the best mix, but it's a little decent.

This is one of those cases when everything from the track and visuals perfectly match like never before since the early 80s when the track was released. Sadly the sound quality of the mix is so bad that it makes you wonder why would something almost perfect was posted like this. I have downloaded this track, it is well done but the sound of the mix is terrible. the beat drowns the original track. Hopefully one day, someone will do justice to it and eveyone will enjoy it in it's full glory like xanadu deserved. Crossing fingers that whomever did this mix reads this.
