My mom broke her tibia, and her recovery was intense. She was in so much pain from even the slightest movement. If it’s a fracture Olivia is one tough cookie!

Poor Olivia, I feel for ya!! I tore my medial meniscus 4 years ago! That was a new level of pain- unexplainable! I hope she gets the care she needs so she can be on the mend soon! 💗

Hope your okay olivia 💕As soon as oliva said her knee popped back i got chills and throwback to 7th grade gym class. I was running and my leg did that and my teacher was like 'oh your fine' and he went on to a meeting and my classmates had to stay with me until my mom came and took me to the er. He had quite the shock the day after in the halls meeting me in a wheelchair😅

Yeah I remember tearing my acl and meniscus last year, got surgery but am going back to get a MRI done tomorrow because it's still hurting. These injuries suck... Hope you recover quickly

Olivia, saying prayers for healing. I tore the meniscus in my left knee and it’s been several years of healing. It’s much better as time goes on but walking on hard floors can cause soreness. Go easy on yourself and allow it to heal. Big hugs 🤗

This exact injury happened to me in a soccer game about 2 years ago. I jumped up to head a ball and came down on my knee, my knee folded completely back and my whole body went with it. I heard a loud pop and crunch and thought for sure it was a torn ACL. It was a tibial plateau fracture. It was a really hard and long recovery. I hope Olivia has a speedy recovery!

Hi Bonnie I comment all the time, so I thought I would comment something relative. When I was a freshman in high school I broke my mandible in two places while skateboarding, and had surgery to put a plate and screws in, and then my mouth was wired shut for 2 1/2 months! I had to take muscle relaxers daily and an antibiotic so strong that i was tired constantly. Needless to say this all happened in May right before school ended in June. There was no way I could go to school drowsy and half functioning. However, I was such a great student and such a great help and tutor that all my teachers from all six periods let me miss the rest of the year (4 weeks) and still passed me. I am forever grateful for them doing that. Hoping for a strong recovery on Olivia’s part and I hope it’s easy enough to get her work sent home to her!

Prayers for a speedy recover🙏 it’s crazy how easy it is to injure knees/legs. I was in marching band and I took one wrong turn that caused my knee to dislocate which resulted in surgery. Injuries are never fun

This is so different than what Olivia is experiencing right now but I dislocated my knee one time and it was NOT fun because I couldnt do anything for like 6 weeks. Her injury is a lot worse than mine but I just wanted to say that she will be thrilled to be back in doing what she’s doing!! I hope she feels better! I would get her like and ice pack or an ice brace

Sending prayers to Olivia for healing. I injured my knee years ago, tore the meniscus and destroyed the ACL ligament so I know how painful that is. I ended up having total knee replacement surgery as I already had stage 4 arthritis in that knee. I hope you are feeling better sooner. I found the arm gripping crutches were far easier to manage and much safer too.

I fee so bad for Olivia! I've torn both my meniscus and acl. Had surgery for the meniscus in my right knee...tore my all in my left knee. Praying for a speedy recovery for her! Knee problems are the worst!

I fractured my tibia back in March to this day it is still weak but the pain can be bad to not bad constantly I had 3 months of recovery and slowly got myself back to normal, hope she is okay!

The same happened to a teammate of mine, during a field hockey game. We all for sure thought she tore something in her knee. Couldn’t move it and was twice as big. But she ended up with a fracture in her tibia or fibula, I can’t remember. But positive thing is it doesn’t take as long to heal 😅 she was putting weight on it in like 3 or 4 weeks. Thoughts are with you Olivia, hoping for a quick recovery!

Sounds like a tibial plateau fracture. So painful. I’ve had mine operated on twice. Make sure the ortho is good at this type of fracture. Hugs Olivia!!!!

I had a tibia fracture on the top of my tibia from skiing in March it’s called the tibia plateau. I thought and the doctor also thought I torn my ACL at first and they couldn’t see the fracture on x-ray until after I got my MRI a few days later. I’m still having pain in my knee and have trouble with it. But with lots of PT and ice Olivia will recover great in a few months ❤

Oh nooo Olivia 🫢 I hope you get better soon. I know how you must be feeling right now, I myself hurt my foot really bad in June and had to wear a vacuum sealed cased for the whole summer 🥲 I’m able to walk now thankfully but still have to go to physical therapy. It will be better 💪🏻 I also had that weird feeling of ‘yeah I finally have something’(because I really never was sick before) and in the next second ‘I’m sick of wearing this thing, I wish I didn’t get hurt’ It was a really weird experience at first 😅 But I pray for your fast recovery and hope that you and your family have a very merry Christmas 🎄
