Did you see the leaked text messages between Shia and Florence? Turns out they were at least friendly and she even said she didn’t feel unsafe from him at all!! I remember a year ago or something I told people that I didn’t like Olivia and that I think she is a bad person and so many people called me disrespectful and disgusting for saying that. They said if I don’t support Holivia that means I’m not a real fan. Some even said I’m just saying this because I’m jealous, because I’m childish and because I want to be with Harry. Me not liking Olivia has absolutely nothing to do with Harry. I don’t have anything against Harry dating other people, but I do have something against Olivia. She is a problematic person and she’s proving it over and over again. I’m so glad that Harry is getting away from her.

Shia for sure has his issues and I hope Twigs gets her day in court, but at the very least I appreciate the truth Shia was able to uncover, and that he shed light on the flagrant deceit going on with that cast, whereas Flo is still unable to say anything.

Agreed love. This sentiment is perfectly understandable. It's because we know Harry is a good-natured well-meaning person, as we've watched him grow up in the public eye since he was 16 with tons and tons of character witnesses from many industries with nothing but positive things to say about him. Olivia's come-up in Hollywood is riddled with dark, dubious behavior, predatory characters and close ties to rapists, multiple proven lies, and her sanctimonious and hypocritical attacks on others who disagree with her politically. She and Harry are not the same.
Same sentiment here. I am as of his age as well. But I don't think we need to keep crying on it anymore. H is way smart in the field of marketing and he knows better what to do. It doesn’t come to my mind that he is under OW's any kind of influence. He will get rid of her when he will decide she has served her purpose. We don't want to market DWD anymore, do we?

I agree with both points very much. And if you're privy to how they staged things with Holivia and paps to overshadow drops for My Policeman, and how the DWD publicity team keeps dropping things immediately after My Policeman does, it precisely proves your point about queerphobia.
What a feckin disaster. The video is part of her manipulative ways. She could have called him. Why the need for a video? It's personable.and she can be as distracted as she wants because she's driving instead of talking to the video. She screwed everything up.
This is an excellent point no one has made yet! Also the "shia shia" shows how manipulative she is as well. Trying to be all "cutsey". And I've been saying the same thing about those photos of her clinging to jason after the breakup. She initiated all of the contact, and her behavior is highly manipulative.
My take: Florence was having scheduling conflicts due to COVID. She was in the UK with family for a bit and was kinda “stuck” there (per leaked “texts” between herself and Shia). She wasn’t making it to the rehearsals so Shia didn’t feel good about the decision to stay on so he left the project. Olivia sends this video to Shia because Flo wasn’t making rehearsals due to Covid restrictions. They replaced Shia with Harry because Covid probably cleared up a lot of Harry’s schedule to be able to film. They start filming and from the set rumors, probably wasn’t a good environment but Florence intended to finish the project as did everyone else. Shia’s scandals came out in the public so Olivia saw an opportunity to make herself look good by saying she was protecting Florence by firing Shia and hiring Harry. Obviously, Florence knows the truth about all this and now doesn’t wanna be associated with this. Shows you that people will use politics and whatever is trendy at the time to try to get ahead in their careers even if they don’t care about the cause they’re advocating for.
I hope Shia LaBeouf sues the magazines and wins-just because somebody’s done wrong things in the past doesn’t mean that they will continue to do wrong things and can’t reform -and we shouldn’t take it advantage of people that way. It’s looking like keeping receipts as you go in life is a good strategy.

To answer my own question, I just listened to H do the QA for My Policeman. He was eloquent, informed, interested, interesting, polite, understated, and knowledgeable .... and the list goes on... Strange really, how he seemed incapable of speaking coherently at the other presser just a few days ago. Almost like a form of sabotage???!!! Things sure are strange at the moment. I felt respect here for his craft. At the other press conference there was a REALLY weird dynamic going on!!

Just the friendly nerd here commenting that in any case the moment was not inferred by the movie, it was implied by it. A lot of people get those two concepts mixed up. An inference is a logical conclusion based on observation. An implication is a statement where one doesn't explicitly say something, but encourages others to think that one is saying something else. People need to wake up.
