I never concern myself over the stabilization aspects of a camera, it is always just a bonus if I find it stabilizes well. I look for ergonomics, function, photo quality first. I have never used the ep-7 so I cannot really compare, but I do see that the E-PL10 has 3.5 stops of stabilization where the EP-7 has 4.5. The E-P7 is a newer camera with newer sensor, higher megapixel, etc.. Olympus is confusing (for me) with their naming conventions. Hope this helps! Thanks for commenting

I need to try the panorama mode more. I used it in low light once and it did not turn out good (to be expected) and just forgot to try it again. But thanks for the reminder

@@MattRyanPhoto55 Olympus are a bit hopeless with panorama, you want a Panasonic G7 or later for that, just shoot whilst turning. But I prefer my E-PL7 to the G7 as carry.

My main digital is an X-T5 that has a pretty good pano mode. But if I were doing actual panos I would use my nodal ninja pano head and then stitch. It's what I used for doing 360 degree panos for real estate tours.

Lol yeah. Good for me though as my Fuji X10 is selling more than what I paid for it new 10 years ago. Hahaha. People are going back to small camera and going back to artistic photography rather than sheer technical capability.

Why wouldn’t I answer?!? lol. It will do just fine. All based on the amount of light and shutter speed. If indoors you might have to use the flash. It’s a great camera, takes wonderful photos and is a perfect size.

@@TheDelightJones no. You have to sync audio from your recording device to the scratch audio on the camera.

@@TheDelightJones DJI wireless mics, R0DE Wireless, Neewer makes a set for a good price. Just make sure anything you get has internal recording otherwise you will need to connect the receiver to either a phone, or an audio recorder. If you have later model iPhone they have really good internal mics that can work in a pinch. Not sure about other phones though. Quick google search can yield some good results on what to buy and how to use them.

@@Koji-888plastic is tough but feels tacky and cheap. It's a haptics thing.

I run multiple settings, aperture priority, manual, even auto at times. Your camera shouldn’t take blurry shots unless 1. Your in manual mode and have the wrong settings for the scene(motion blur) to slow a shutter, etc. 2. Something is wrong with your lens. Or 3. Something is wrong with your camera. If it is not user error then I would suggest trying a different lens and see if that helps. If it doesn’t you might want to bring your camera in to a local camera store and see if they give you any suggestions on why it is shooting blurry. Hope this explanation helps.

Another thought I had is to do a full reset (located in the menu) on the camera and put it in full auto mode (green camera icon says "AUTO") and see if that changes anything.

Not really. I only have a 14 pro. But what I can say is that both do great, the Olympus has access to hundreds of lenses so depth of field is real versus ai etc.. both have merits, and both are great. For me personally I prefer an actual camera dslr/mirrorless for video, but I do also use my iPhone quite often, for ease of use, lightweight etc..

No added grain, I did edit these some, just mostly warmed them up a little and brought up shadows a little. I try to edit as little as possible. Here is the link to the edited photos and unedited jpgs from the camera. Oops sorry. My bad. The video looks great on that E-PL10. The sound is pretty good too. I won’t even bother with an external mic. Not a vlogger. Did you say what lens you’re using. It looks bigger than a standard 14-42mm EZ

Oh I just figured out your lens. It’s the older standard size 14-42mm. I like that one as well. I can get my hand on it and actually use it. EZ only for travel. Just didn’t recognize it at first because of the chrome nose ring and filter. 💁🏻‍♀️ ツ

@@Koji-888 I upgraded later on to newer version. The old one was bigger than I wanted and noisy as hell

Video autofocus is pretty good, I have not had an issue with it, I use this camera quite a bit for my videos, more so than my Fuji X-T5. It uses a contrast based autofocus which at first worried me as I used to use a GH5 and got a lot of focus breathing. But with this one I do not really notice breathing.
