It is so much fun. It helps a lot to use it every now and then to give the head a break. Just point and shoot.

Hey! Great video! I had no issue with loading my XA2, but i dont manage to unload. I pressed the button below the camera but all my winding of the little crank won't help. Any idea what i am doing wrong?

That is strange. Are you sure you loaded correctly? Sometimes it seems like one does and then its loose. Check when you advance to see if the crank turns or not. Maybe something is loose or broken.

I recently bought a xa2, but there is a problem with the pressure plate being loose. do you know if there exists an easy fix for this problem? thank you!

I would have to look at my back, but maybe you can get a cheap XA3 and swap? The XA3 sells for very little as it used a selenium meter (I might be wrong) and they are mostly faulty at the moment.

They are depth of field numbers per symbol. The XA2 has drawings to indicate focus distance, so I have made a little reminder of the exact distances.

You try to advance and its pretty obvious its hit the end. Easy to feel.

Its easy to feel when you advance that its the end of the roll.

Most probably Ilford Hp5+.

Hi so I loaded my film batteries but I cant wind my shutter?

Try the battery checker under the camera. Then to shoot you need to properly open the camera shell. If it still doesnt work it might be busted.

i have a problem. i loaded my camera but i can’t advance to the first shot.. it seemed stuck or something :-( what can i do?

I would suggest trying to rewind the roll and repeat the first shot, also make sure you have batteries.

+The Cantrell Project I have a few but me and TLRs dont take along too well. I have had some great ones but I always get rid of them. Now I have a Mamiya C330 and might try a 124G again.

+The Cantrell Project Thats a great Rollei. I had the 2.8F. But didnt enjoy it. Rangefinders have been a huge part of my work in the last years.

This is risky for people who don't know how to load It. If they didn't fix it right at the start its a wasted film. I can recommend u close it after u see it's correctly winded at the spool. Even if u waste 1 or 2 photos it's better than wasting an entire roll
