Omar Naber represented Slovenia at the first Semi-Final of the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv with the song On My Way. If you want to know more about Omar Naber, go to eurovision.tv
I hope so too! The song is so nice and uplifting, kinda reminds me of The Distance from Hercules and Omar´s voice, come on, pure gold! I want them to make a character that looks like him too, would not complain :D!
I'm very sad he didn't qualify. His voice is out of this world and his song is great to me. Look at the people who sang along! He's also one of the sweetest ESC participants I've met
Cristian Gimeno I also don't get why everyone hates this song and rates it so low. It was really good entry, my second favourite in this semi (first was Finland)
I know its old-fashioned but I dont understand why exactly is that a bad thing? I mean, isnt Portugal like one of the biggest favourites exactly from the same reason (cuz their song is like the music from the 80ies). I dunno... I kinda dont get everyones negative opinion about this entry.
Call me old fashioned but I do like a song with a nice melody and that is well sung. Omar ticked all the boxes and it is such a shame that songs that make my ears bleed have made it to the final in place of Slovenia.
I have no idea why people don't like this song... Maybe the huge volume change from the firstverse to the chorus is a bit bad chosen but all in all I love harmonies so much... it is not the most special song in the world but it is still very good and catchy and his voice is so strong, too... And he is one of the little one who really shows that he feels what he is singing what makes the whole thing even more impressive... look at himsmiling on stage... that's the most amazing thing someone can do... Thank you Omar, awesome job:)
Kritik, for me he was winner of preselection and one of best in semi yesterday... Kids won't qualify neither... And about that "rape" thing... It was like always is in cases like this... She was drunk, he was famous and next day she sees opportunity for money or fame...
He really surprised me tonight! His studio version of the song was boring but his performance really brought it to life and of course his amazing voice!
I don't get it why people dislike this video. I mean even if you don't like it, he put a lot of effort and love into this performance and for that everyone should respect him.
I feel bad for naber to be honest. he is sexier than most contestants, he has better voice than most but he received lots of bad comments for things that have nothing to do with this entry . I will agree that the song is boring and inferior that Stop . I think he was just after a eurovision ballad that would get him to the finals
I don't see them winning anytime soon (2016 was a total coincidence anyway) but yeah, even if he will be 70, he will perform there and maybe even qualify for us :P
Why do you dislikes for this? There is perfect singing and emotional so great then that's why you don't like him now i'm just curious:)) He was a nice singer.. Regards from Thailand
Not a big fan of the song, far from it being bad, it`s just a matter of taste...but Omar, as always, was nothing short of amazing! The color and the smoothness of his voice, the control and perfect interpretation, he`s proved once again that he`s a world-class vocalist, he just keeps getting better and better. Great job as always :)
I really don't get how the juries ranked Czech Republic so much higher than On My Way. My Turn was so boring, and the performance from Martina was nothing special. I feel Omar gave a much better performance with a better song, so how the juries ranked him second-last I can't tell
Vocal performance was on FIRE! I feel bad for Omar, he waited ten years to perform this song, and the public hated it. I love this. It's calm, inspirational and happy. It always puts a smile to my face! 12 points from the Netherlands anyway!
He was amazing and he deserved (AND STILL DESERVES) better THAN Armenia. I'm sad of that he wasn't in 10. Slovenians, you could be proud of him. And Omar, don't give up! Greetings for Slovenians (and of course Omar) from Poland❤️
I really don't i understand why they don't win the song its very nice and the voice super duper nice suuuuper nice. . Omar naber your the best singer for me. 😊😊😊😘😘💋💋💋
The most impressive thing about this guy is his change. In 2005 he was a shy, little boy with a great voice who was really nervous live and now look in at him in 2017. Now he's attractive, he believes in himself and has confident. Also, his voice is as great in 2017 as it was in 2005.
This song was my fourth favorite, and I had enough faith in it to believe that it would go through even if I didn't vote for it...which I did not. Now I almost regret it, because I really think it deserved it.
