FM Synth music is great. Though, tbf, it's not from just the Genesis, some arcade systems from the time (including non-Sega ones) use the FM Synth Yamaha sound chips. In fact, a lot of the songs Yousuke composed/arranged for this and other scrolling shooters tend to lean more towards the arcade stuff.
Yousuke Yasui did score at least one game (Prodigy Racing) using the MOD format, so he might very well be familiar with tracker music classics like Crusader.
+alienspacebat It's a good question, i don't remember. I think i used a random pic' because this game (Omega Five) doesn't have good pics, so you know to have a good illustration...
Maybe later, but me I can't upload the rest of this soundtrack because i have not this game, I found this music on vip.aersia.net.swf and i wanted to upload this on youtube
TheKardan13 I know this already but thanks for the reply. Do you know where I can get a CD that has this arrangement included? Or just the name of the CD that has this arrangement would be helpful.
Adrian Arnese You should go on the website of the author of this remix (Yousuke Yasui) and, if you can't find it, you can try to record the song while you're on youtube (or on the playlist I linked below the video). By the way I don't know if a CD contain this song, sorry ~
Mental Hog .mp3 is shitty, .tta is better but yeah I meant record my video with Fraps or Mirilis. I knew a software which was used for downloading youtube videos but it does'nt work for now.
I love how you put an image of a character (Vivi Alzaherd) that's completely unrelated to Omega Five. Wonder what you will do next. Put Megaman in a Phoenix Wright game?
