Enjoyed your honest review and comparison. My Speedmaster Moonwatch 1861 will never leave my collection. When I purchased mine I was torn between that and the 1863. In the end I went with the Hesalite. Can’t go wrong with either iconic Speedy. Don’t wear it all that much but when I strap it on it’s amazing. And what a strap monster! Very cool Snoopy indeed. Cheers
There both lovely watches, but I have to say I much prefer the Daytona. Much better bracelet and clasp. Also for the money you would expect the Speedmaster to be a column wheel chrono with a vertical clutch and not a cam.
@@BrendanBoswellto each his own...to me Daytona is just louder and more jewelry like. Speedmaster snoopy or 321 for me. It's useless talking about movements when it comes to Rolex... otherwise if column wheel were to be the basis then the el primero should cost 10x more than a Daytona. The movements are much more finely detailed.
If that's the criteria then Daytona should cost 1/10th of an el primero or a jlc chrono. Comparing to these 2 the Daytona is very crude movement. Point is it's not about the watch but the hype around it. Speedmaster 321 and Snoopy and el primero for me🎉 To each his own
@@Mega-zi7ys I’m not doubting they are nice watches. I’m saying as a complete package the Daytona is a better watch. You can’t go without servicing a modern Omega for over 10 years while you certainly could with a Daytona. Rolexes are built to last. Also the value retention/appreciation has always been superb with the Daytona. Lastly Rolex does and always will have a better fit and finish then Omega, especially with the bracelets and clasps.
@@ASB88 completely disagree won't go into details anymore. But I do own rolexes as well but don't hold them up to such high esteem. Anyway best regards
