This is a very short video to let you guys know I bought a new cheap telescope and I don't know if I made a mistake or it just might work (if any of you have this telescope please share your experience), but I guess we will found out in the next few days when I take it for a spin under the stars 😅📷

Wow sounds like you scored. On the right you can see the gas cloud nicely. Wide field of view looks good. I'm really thinking of getting one. Thanks for showing. Can't wait to see second video of your Omegon 90mm.

So, I'm starting from scratch. Your work, thus far, convinced me to go for this exact rig as my entry level starter kit. If I can come close to getting the nebula shots you're getting, I'll be really happy. Planning to purchase the AZ-GTi and Omegon this week. Selling a couple lens, then I'll get the ASIair Pro and guide camera. Keep up the good work! Thanks for setting a high standard of creativity and excellence!

I have the Bresser 102 /460. Its a fun cheap scope. To look at the moon and planets I stop it down to 70mm and it makes a massive difference, probably equal to a f11 achromat. Try it, it works.

You can also fix the fringeing with a Baader Fringe killer filter. Maybe that would help. Thanks for the video :)

Yes, you're right and I might look into a few solutions after I know for sure I'll keep if for imaging but thanks for the tip.

what did you use, did you extend the distance between the camera and scope, did you use a flattner, do i need one, or can i just get a extinction tube and im good, just tell me what you used from end of telescope to camera if you could

Hey, currently I'm not using any flatter and if you are going to be using a DSLR you won't need any extension tube, the focus distance is well within the range.

hey dude with would be better , a 2 inch doubler, or a flattner and can i use both , let me know ,G

Hey, I think a flattener would be a better option but just to let you know I'm having issues finding the correct adapters to mount it properly, especially now with the off-axis guider. But if you find something interesting or a good solution I would really appreciate if you would let me know.

Love to know how you got that guidescope mounted on this scope? I have the same scope but I can't figure how how to mount anything to it

Hey Clayton, in this particular video I'm using some 3D printed files, because I hade the same issue, now I'm using a off-axsis guider. If you have access to a 3D printer let me know and I'll share my files

On Instagram I'm omegon_refractor, I'm big G and it's real nice, you did not waste a dime, let's see what I can get , getting dslr, and right now I'm using the sv105, space camera, might get the revolution 2, will see. Bro I've seen the city's on the moon , ,, ufos,,,,,, now I'm done telling the world what I see with telescopes, now I want to show what the omegon can see, Mahalo my friend, because of you I bought this telescope

@@TadejSkofic yeah , the milky way is very clear, what do i buy , from end of scope to camera, i have canon adapter, they sell a extender, 2 inch screws into t ring and can make longer or shorter, i dont know if it matters , i might get a space camera ccd

To be honest, there are visible abortions, plus the stars on the edges are a bit egg shaped. I do fix them in processing by taking a shorter exposure and just replace them. But for around 200$/€ the performance is surprisingly good. I mainly got this scope because I wanted to test for what kind of an optical system I will go in the future (reflector or refractor) and spend quite more money to get something more high end, but again I was surprised and I'm really enjoining using it.

Yes, to be achromatic is fine. I have a 200/1000 reflector and with the coma corrector very well, but I am thinking of buying an APO 80 mm Triplet, to see how it goes.

@@shoryureppa4471 Yes, a triplet would definitely get you some great results I'm thinking about a few I would like but I'm far away from deciding which one to get because I think it's time for me to get a bigger mount as well but yeah, you probably can't go wrong with a triplet.
