@@gemmagriff8749 Doubt it. They're incredibly smart and have a keen sense of smell. I would imagine she's smart enough to know that if someone doesn't smell like Deb she'd not approach. They are so skittish and can disappear so quickly you might think you'd just imagined them. I love them. 🦊❤️🦊❤️
Unfortunately Biscuit passed away on 1st September 2023 😢. She had a severe case of lungworm, which had done too much damage to be treated, even though she did have lungworm treatment, she couldnt be saved 😢
At first it sounded like you were saying it was sweet that she passed. I know that’s not the case just felt like giving my first reaction to how you worded that.
I used to work landscaping, once convinced an owner not to kill the foxes who made a den under their deck. I sat down with a drink for a break under a tree one hot day, and the fox came up to me with her kits. I held out my hand and she came up to sniff, then each kit did as well, I think there were maybe 5 of them. It was like she was teaching them to be wary, but that some humans you can trust. I’ll never forget looking in her eyes and realizing how intelligent she seemed. Then they wandered off. Saw them a couple more times after that.
I’m extremely sad to hear Biscuit passed away but I’m so glad she absolutely got to experience the love of a human and how it felt to feel love from a stroke upon her skin. Thank you for loving her enough to take the time to for her to trust you enough to feel love from a human!!!😢❤
maybe deb made a hat and scarf from deceased biscuit. I'm sure if biscuit could make the choice she'd rather be deb's hat then more food for the fecking worms.
Oh that poor Sweet little girl😢😢 she seemed to have tears in her eyes when you were petting her as if being loved made her happy and sad at the same timeI'm so glad you were able to bond with her and feed her so when she got her sickest she still had somebody to give her something to eat to help keep her strength up
She is mesmerized with the soft and quiet tones in your voice because she listens so intently.... Wondering what this big creature is trying to communicate to her. Priceless!
Omg i just started watching these videos going through the beginning and i just seen this comment hopping it wasn't true. 😢 . She was so precious and beautiful. Nature can be cruel. She didn't deserve to die like that and so young.
As much as I love foxes, I have to admit that not all of them are heroes of the night... farmers in particular would beg to differ 😅 chickens, eggs, baby ducks, pigs, etc. Coyotes are worse about it though imo. Actually seen a few farmers camp out at night to kill them with night vision scopes. Some people get upset about it, but they're actively protecting their livestock. Underrated/unpopular hero of the night: Opossums - though clearly not as cute as a fox, they can eat venomous snakes.❤❤ Idc if they topple my trashcan over, so long as I never see a snake.
@@bungalowfeuhler1541in opinion it's bad for your cat to chew on or eat wild animals, they can carry parasites or diseases like rabies ect. poor biscuit passed away because of lung worm do to eating the wrong rat, also unwise to feed your lizards random insects or pet arachnids for the same reason, they're mad because of your poor caretaking
@@Dbree24Hmm wouldn’t rehabilitating one wild animal deprive another wild animal of food? Why do you make an exception for animal sanctuaries at all when it defeats the purpose of keeping humans away from wild animals?
The fact you've earned such trust from a wild fox is a real testament to your character. Such an adorable close up, I love her bright eyes and pokey little fangs.
Watch it again!! and take a look; Her back leg does _The AutoLift_* of enjoyment ever so slightly. And oh so lovely. *auto lift: when a fur friends leg lifts, contracts, or moves in way thats unconscious (ie; doesnt serve any apparent purpose) in response to a scritch, stroke, pat, pet, rub, etc.
They are domesticating it by providing food. This is disgraceful. Further, they are using the animal for entertainment and profits purposes. Do you lack as many morals as OP?
She was the only one who liked to be petted. Cookie, Basil, ChipChip and the other new foxes would always run away. So, yeah. It wasn't only about food. Get real yourself. Too bad that she died this month from longworm.
Thank you for your kindness towards this beautiful creature. Her little eyes have such a sweet look & the way the scratches leave her feeling about you. Just so adorable!
They don’t have long lifespans. I looked it up. It was probably her time to go, anyway, even if her lungs weren’t destroyed by the worms. 😢 The Wildlife Trust has an article about them. They only live 2-3 years. 😢
I miss you, Biscuit. You could never know the positive impact you had on people around the world with your sweet face. I'm so thankful you found your way to Deb. Rest easy, Sweetheart.
I feel u. Ur so right about Biscuit touching so many people's lives. I miss Biscuit so much also. I bet there are thousands who miss her sweet lil face. Her big bright expressive eyes and cute little "teefs" were just adorable. It'll never be the same without her. Poor Deb. She was completely gutted. 😢
