This is giving me memories, I’m thankful I get to play it in 2014 before the Xbox 360 + PS3 version shut down.

If anyone remembers “The Lester Plane Glitch” ur an absolute legend *the glitch was, enter ur 10 car garage, call lester and request a plane but once u hit accept u walk out of ur garage, then u make ur way to Devon wester hanger, and every 2 seconds you would of receive $100* I left my console on for a weekend same lobby walking in circles and made 100M

Wow this is an emotional overload! Lol Violent Duct and Rooftop Rumble were played a disgusting amount of times, we played until everybody in the group had money to buy what they wanted. Titan Of A Job was also a money maker. Thank you for this video cause I was a Day 1, 4 am player who had to deal with all the connection issues when Online dropped.

It’s crazy bc now inflation is so high on that game they literally start you out with your own business, vehicles and guns if your on next gen, it makes me mad bc I built my empire from the ground up in 2014 with nothing but $30 in the bank, new players will never understand

bro i started playing in like middle of 2015, i miss the modded lobbies on PS3, getting money dropped $70M and getting level 270 something and then spending the $70M on cars and MMI from the mil base, fighting people in free roam. DAAAAAAAMN

Takes me back. I remember doing the circuit around the map, robbing stores. I drove a Ruiner exclusively. I ran so many Gerald missions I dreamt about them.

There was a contact mission where you gotta steal a cargobob, we grinded that sooo hard. Created like a playlist so we can repeat it all over and over. Great times!

There was a glitch where you can glitch in the store and you’d be invisible that’s how I got a lot of my kills in free roam online lol

I remember the character creator. I made my character 28 years old😂 good old days. The OGs use to grind rooftop rumble for Money. Grinded those missions with people for hours

When you see this and realise you lived the best moment anyone could ever imagine. And feel sad at the same time cause you won't be able to relive it :')

Ah memories. I played from day one, and still play, I literally have a garage full of my original 2013 cars that I never sold.

I remember the CHAOS when they opened GTA online at once and thousands tried to join at the same time and it kept dropping, everyone spawned in the same spot, and NO ONE had money, so everyone was sealing th best car off the street they could find to keep as their personal car

I could do violent duct in my sleep dude.. I also miss the old map, both minimap ui and the pause menu map. We're getting to the point of digital tech where it's design past is becoming as nostalgic as 60-80s physical tech (like the dash of a car, or a microwave toaster).

Who remembers when DNS codes were a thing? The very first public hacks to come to gta online back in 2013, and people were putting bounties worth billions on people. Or the URL glitch to buy the HotKnife without having collectors edition? Good times

Hands down gta 5 one of the best gta games. It definitely pushed boundaries for the early 2010s. Still can not believe it's been a decade! I never played online so im unaware with the features, i just played single player and storymode. I'd invite my friend's over and we'd take turns to upgrade a car only to crash it within 10 minutes! I grew up with Vice city and SA. So from that to gta5 i was blown away! Plus I adore the characters. I watched their interview. I'd explore the world and get killed or lost or attacked or see if a taxi can take me/pick me up in difficult locations! Never thought id say this to such a high quality game, but those were the good days!

Back then, the prices weren’t so high for stuff because Modders hadn’t completely ruined the game with money drops & modded accounts. The moment that happened, R* started upping the price on stuff.

I sold the same car over and over again. You sold your car and loaded the game and you’d have the money and the car. I still have the cars I bought with the money and can’t sell them. It just says ‘sorry you can’t sell vehicles worth over 50k’

I still like the map design of the older one better. Also the damage system was worse on cars, but hey let it bend less on ps4 etc. Also because the cockpit view.... What i have done to make easy money? Hunting Bounties. Honestly, i earned a fortune with that. Till the hacker came and i suddenly got 1 billion dollar........ not us billion. German billion. So, after million there is milliarden in germany, and 1000 milliarden are 1 billion. So kinda 1000x 1 american billion. It was strange and frustraglted me kinda.... You remember those extreme Bounties, hacker modded into the game? And about griefer. Alot where flying jets. It was easy to steal them from fort zancudo.

Love this shit. No laser pistols, no flying cars, no flying bikes. Its almost a real gta game.

wee need to know how much the taser costs in og gta online bc going from like 50 bucks in story mode to 500k in current day online which is insane bc its a taser

I remember all of this. My character is from 2013. I did the grandparents/parents thing and all lol. That’s back when u could have your dad be John Marston from Red Dead Redemption as an Easter egg lol. Eclipse tower was so damn popular, the modders/hacks fucked the servers up so bad that almost every session u joined had a damn wind turbine at the apartment, so when u came out the garage it would send your car flyin across LS or under the map. Or if the griefers knew what floor your apt was on, they could use the buzzard or hydra to send bullets or missiles into your place 🤣🤣🤣

I miss the OG GTA days. The car chases were the best because most people could actually drive.

In today's gta if you own every semi passive business (or at least half of them), the economy isn't that bad as long as you don't buy 5 cars everyday. New players are just crying cuz they can't just farm millions with bugs, and they need to buy some business instead of blowing their money on stupid stuff.

well top range vehicles for half a million dollars but you had to do the contact missions that always required you to drive across the map in whatever dinky car you had fighting enemies that kill you 100% of the time if you're not in cover and wait for you to move before they bother leaving their cover or perform the money truck glitch which requires a silenced shotgun and a getaway vehicle. 2 point blank shots opened the door and you take the 25k without a wanted level, drive away it respawns instantly.

Way better than current gta online
