The comment on audiobook’s pronunciation 😂. That is one reason I can’t do audiobooks, too many little things that would bother me, that don’t exist when you read yourself. Good job reading so many books! I’m very envious, but I will have more free time to read very soon. That Rabbits book sounds interesting, as long as you promise its 1000 times better than Ready Player One 😂. Also the Dresden Files are on my TBR list, but I got a lot of stuff in line before it. I know tons of people love Dune, but I totally loathe it despite trying so hard to figure out why everyone is obsessed, so I feel your pain on that journey. So excited for you to read The Expanse books!!! I’ve read Crime and Punishment, and as a disclaimer Dostoevsky isn’t my favorite author, but I found it a little dull. For some reason the suspense didn’t really grab me and I just see it as -a book of anxiety-. It has a lot of moral questioning though, and the themes are interesting to me, just not so much the experience of reading.

Good job on all your time off screen. I have been inspired by you and a few others lately. Particularly trying to stay off my phone at least in the beginning of the day. Today my cats came to my bed and I picked up my phone to see the time and one of my cats got all excited because I sometimes put on a video of birds for him to watch. Well, I went to youtube to find a video for him, but instead, I accidentally started scrolling and watching videos, and yours is one of them, lol! Oh well! I'm gonna go find a cat video for him now. I'm not much of a fiction reader, I'm more of an information gatherer. I normally only read fiction if my friend who likes fiction tells me I should read a certain book. The only one I didn't was the Harry Potter series. That genre is really not my cup of tea. But I did enjoy the Hunger Games books.

Even if I shut off my social media, I don’t think I could read that many books. 😂You should make a book review channel, or continue book reviews. 😊

No, we say grimace like you say grimace. Drove me nuts about The Blade Itself audiobook. There were a couple of other words he pronounced weirdly as well, but griMACE was the most jarring. Edit: Awesome video, by the way. It seems that cutting all this tech out is suiting you rather well! 😁 Also, your book sounds fascinating.

I'm not much of a reader, but I did manage to read The Great Gatsby all the way through, finishing it yesterday. The Great Gatsby is not even two hundred pages in 14 point font type, problably no more than five chapters of the one of the Joe Ambrocromby novels that you have on your table. I found the Great Gatsby a captivating read and may review it on my blog Hopegloryblog.com. I need to.read more. Thanks, Peter.

Hi! Any attempt to cry out my eye will be dry but to try to resist a mournful sigh over you not having a supply of dye for your rye on the nigh of your Fourth of July would...make me say bye to this lame joke that I certainly didn't write while high. Have a very Happy Independence Day Michi! I don't read much fiction so can't bring much to the table but, well, okay, I guess you get cynical with non-fiction being...the point is, have an amazing day!

How do you choose the books you are reading ?

it's kind of a mix of things -- sometimes it's because a friend says they think I would like it because of another book I like or because I like the author. A lot of it too is mood, do I want to read this story style? Do I want to be in this kind of world? Also, I like to make progress on series I like as well like Dresden.

Nah, no-one with any British accent that I can think of says "grim-ayce." The usual pronunciation is "grim-iss." I think that's just a reader with a very weird idiolect: probably one of those words someone has read, but never linked to the heard word!
