They are not suited for each other. The INTP needs to operate according to structures because their entire construct is built on understanding 'how it works,' whereas the INTJ is focused on 'whether it works.' For the INTJ, everything originates from abstract intuition, even the construction of anything is based on this, which the INTP is unable to comprehend and constantly needs explanations for-something that can be irritating, as it’s obvious to the INTJ. The INTP is light-years disconnected from true being and, as a result, may create interesting yet not very practical theories. On the other hand, the INTJ is integrally connected to non-material reality, which in the context of spirituality creates a barrier with the INTP. While the INTP can be an okay conversation partner, they become extremely irritating in the long run. Unfortunately, the INTP is highly dependent on the functioning of the entire system, like a cog in a vast machine that often cannot be understood or grasped.
I never liked superhero movies, my friend oftenly go to cinema just to watch them and i feel forced to watched the endgame just to not missing out their topics. i never wanna watch them until The Boys came in 2019. And the thing is all my friends is actually into it and really enjoyed The Boys. I am seriously got bored watching mcu, the plotline mostly mid, the jokes ain't funny, and the character is mostly mary sue and gary stu. The only thing why people like them is the coreo and cgi. What about DC? I liked Batman trilogy, i really like joker and Batman 2021. People tells that Zack Snyders justice league is the best and again i feel bored watching that movie. I really don't know why people like superhero maybe their just feed with type of contens since their childhood.
Superhero movies are escapism for man-children who never got over reaching adulthood. That´s the main crowd these movies are made for. You know...The typical 38-year-old neckbeard, half bald incel with glasses who collects Funko Pops, buys Legos and plays videogames, and wears Marvel T-Shirts. The plots of these movies are predictable, idiotic, shallow, the characters are crap, it´s plastic Hollywood sensationalism for simpletons and I can not believe that these movies are still being made after torturing audiences with them since the early 2000s
I'm an intj with an intp best friend who's my favourite person on earth, and I know I'm about 4.5 years late to the conversation, but I just recently realized why she's so special to me, so here goes. I think intjs go through life shortening our answers to people's questions (not lying, just shortening) because we know our real answers would be too long, too boring, or too unrelatable for people, and nobody has the patience to really know us and our drives. For example, I can mention that I don't like people using the term "friend" with me casually/in a joking way. Most people would ask why and be satisfied with a "sounds superficial" as an answer and change the topic, but the intp would keep going with the "but why" and the "that doesn't make sense to me" until I peel back the layers and tell her about how I consider it a lie to be called a "friend" when there's no real emotional connection to back it up and how it affects my ability to trust the person's words when important/emotional issues come up... Just my whole internal reasoning that nobody else ever cared enough to ask about my entire life. And this happens over and over and over, about things from why I didn't go back to a stable job and started my own company instead, to why I can't get along with my in-laws. Nobody ever took such a deep and honest interest in my inner self before. Nobody ever made me feel so HEARD and SAFE to express myself.
Yeah my bf is intp, I am intj. It was so weird because he felt like home from a first sight. I cant explain it but we clicked instantly even though he thought that I'm cold and I said to him that he doesnt listen to me. After time, he loves how warm I am and I love how he listen to me and use information in real life to make me feel better. It's so good and weird at the same time
Finally!!! Someone who can explain the 2, basically our Te is gonna direct us towards our goals and tasks and how to get them done, but Fi is my internal feelings and needs to be whole and refreshed. Perfect example because I just came out of a week vacation and didn’t think about work and only the things I enjoyed and things I would like to pursue for sheer joy and curiosity
I am obsessed with finding out if i am infj or enfp. Two main reasons why i cant choose between those two is because when i was a child around 10 i got really upset the fact i would have to wake up and brush my teeth every single day get dressed and do the same things day in and day out for the rest of my life so ni or ne and then when i was around 17 i told my bf that i was noticing that i was feeling different around different people and that i wanted to experience different relationships fi or fe. But thinking more enfp as i wanted to be friends with everyone and i don't understand why everyone cant just get along it makes me feel sad. I had awesome ideas in school. We had to write a Christmas song and it only took about 10 mins to come up with and then we had to pick the best and they choose mine and then we had to work in a team and they changed it 😢 i was so upset i didnt want to work on it anymore as it was no longer mine 😢
INTP here. Just checking in to make sure the apocalypse is still ongoing and we're still all under quarantine. Haven't been outside or checked up on my friends and family in a long while.
I am one of these. I loved taking apart engines and putting them back together. I had trouble with math, I couldn't do something without knowing why. I had trouble with being a Sergeant of Police because no one could tell me what my authority was to do many of the things I was supposed to do. I loved the vehicle code laws, short sweet and you were done with that task. I memorized the California Vehicle Code. You were very good on the description of the personality and the examples given. After I got out of law enforcement I started long line truck driving. I got all the human interaction I wanted or needed being alone most of the time. Loved that job too.
Thank you for this spot on description. I’ve typed as ISFJ but wasn’t sure I was living up to the nurturing nurse type that’s so often given to this personality. I can be “selfish” with my space and need a lot of quiet time. But when I’m refreshed and energetic the Fe really comes alive in me. You’ve helped clear up my doubts and nailed each function so well!
ISTP here, and I can see why some ISTPs would think they are INTPs, as I also happen to live with an INTP(She's my mom). With INTPs and ISTPs, the two types are similar enough that someone from the outside could get them confused. This is because they are what I call Sister Types, they both share quite a few similarities(Like their thirst for knowledge), but they go about doing it differently(Because one has extroverted sensing and the other has extroverted intuition), and these differences are how you can tell them apart, not by their hobbies, but by how they use the knowledge that they absorb, but even that has a bit of overlap.
I think the ideal cycle between Ne and Ni goes: Ne: Five new ideas! Ni: Focus on these two. Or maybe just that one. Ni: My world is about to end and there is no escape. Ne: You forgot to look at these ideas, there is hope. Your Fi as ENFPs is attractive. What I can't stand about ENTPs is the brute force advocacy for ideas they don't even believe in -- as if ideas just exist in the ether and don't have consequences -- it's all just a game. Some ideas, publicly broadcasted, can be genuinely dangerous and destructive. I like quick ideas generation and Devil's Advocate, but please have a solid moral compass before you engage in that. ENFPs have that. ENTPs usually don't.
I definitely am too honest and outspoken and it has caused a lot of problems for me. After the latest conflict it was the last straw on the camels back for me. I decided to just stay calm this week and not argue or say anything.
As I intp I really like and hate to talk with intj Because damn man.... how they always right? I mean When I think back on what he said, I find it very logical....
Enfj male. Been in a toxic relationship. I'm not one who likes go argue. But push my buttons enough and I'm ready. Until I'm done with it and I walk away.
