I am surprised that people are allowed to touch the horses - or should I say pester the poor animals.

Serves her right she would not stop pestering the Horse even when it was clearly showing her it was angry, and eventually just grabbed her arm if he really wanted that jacket would be in shreds and her arm possibly broken at the elbow so she got of lucky. The woman harrassed the horse. Like os many other ignorant, selfish people she continued to seek to touch the horse when it had already 'told' her by its reaction that it didn't want to be petted and stroked at that time. But, no, she was going to do her thing regardless. I have no doubt at all that if a man was wanting to touch her and repeatedly harrassing her, despite her signalling clearly she didn't want to be touched, she would be shrieking about how she had been assaulted.

The horse did NOT actually bite her. She got a good PINCH, at best, if he had bitten her, she would have been screaming bloody murder. Horses can bite hard enough to remove chunks, if they want to. They CAN do some damage with those teeth, if they choose to. Horses are social animals, they have a hierarchy, a pecking order, with their counterparts. They all have individual personalities, and are very smart. They don't understand language, but they sure as hell can read body posture of other animals including people. Sometimes it's almost like they know what you are thinking. Watch closely, see the older woman SPEAK to, and acknowledge the Guard AND she spoke to the horse BEFORE she touched him and continued to converse to him the whole time she touched him. She talked to him, let him know that she knew he was special. She stopped when he let her know to stop. Watch his ears and posture. The gal who got the big bite, talked to the guard but didn't really talk to the horse. I've watched this horse, it does not bite when it's spoken to, when people ask permission, rather than dismiss the horse's right to his space, he is usually good natured. He tends to bite when he is not spoken to, and people use no finesse when they approach. They just assume the "lowly beast" doesn't count other than being a "pretty horsey." The horse does not like it when people just bounce up to him and assume it's okay to invade his space and touch him! People never give animals enough credit for how intelligent they really are. Studies are finally giving animals their due for how bright they are and for how much they understand us.

I think it was very nice of him to let her keep the arm. After dodging him a couple of times, the foolish woman held her arm out and let him take full hold. Nice set of bruises. At least he didn't decide to break it. Or give her a toss.

Even a horse finds it difficult to stand for hours. After all, horses are not robots. They are living beings that also need some exercise. You can safely put robots in the corner and they will stay where you put them forever. Horses aren't. But that The riders don't seem to notice. For the riders, their horses are just robots

For all of you people who stick up for the horse...I've had horses for over fifty years and have NEVER owned a horse who would do that. Most of the people who are bitten in these videos are only petting the horse. This horse put the woman's entire arm in his mouth and held on. If these horses are super sensitive from being over exposed to people then they really should have a fence around them so that people can not approach so closely. As a long time horse owner who has been around a LOT of horses in my life, these king's guard horses seem ill tempered and snotty. Go to Disney world and you won't see any of the carriage horses lunging out to bite the countless people who stand by them to get pictures.

I don't believe tourists should touch the horses. AT ALL. The horses get irritable like humans, they like their space. What happens is too many smells.......fumes get to them.😢😢😢

You can tell immediately that this horse was in pain. Ears to the side, chewing and foaming at the bit. Can’t stand still. You would think Royal’s would take better care of their horses.
