Omitted measurement in Surveying: Determining length and bearing of same line (Case 1) 

This video describes the calculations required to determine the length and bearing of the same line in a close traverse. In close traverse, we have leverage that we can omit the bearing and length of any line. And with the properties of close traverse (the sum of departure is equal to zero and the sum of latitude is equal to zero), we can determine the length and bearing of the same line.
