Wow, mine was UART6. I didnt know to try that and I used FPORT on UART1 instead. The other omnibus versions where all UART1. Your video was the first that didnt just talk about the jumper and said to try UART6. Thx.
I don't see what solution you provided? My frsky x lite and XM+ are bound, solid green light. But nothing shows in the receiver tab, nothing moves when I move the sticks. Don't understand, already spend days trying to get this work.
xPureL yeah it’s so frustrating! What I did to fix mine was to make sure that the firmware flashed on the board was omnibusF4SD. And also make sure that the SBUS pads are bridged with a bit of solder on the board. Hope this helps.
@@ReubenRasmussen Thanks you took the time to help. Glad it worked for you. I don't know how, but mine finally worked, after setting uart1 to off, then save and back on and save. For some reason, it works now. BUT, I still can't get a good signal with the XM+, it failsafe almost constantly, every 5 or 10 seconds...the RSSI value goes all over te place from around 30 to 90 %. Nothing stable. And this is the case on 1m, 5m, 10m, no difference, exept can't get above 50% when from 10m distance (without obstructions).... no video of forum anywhere online has helped me to a solution, don't understand :).
xPureL dang that is such a pain! Maybe see if the receiver works with another FC to diagnose whether it’s receiver problem or FC problem...check antennas etc ( I’m sure you have just ruling out all the options)
@@ReubenRasmussen Thanks, indeed, right now I just think the receiver is broken, don't know otherwise. So have a new one and starting over. If everything works as should, i'll throw away the first one after I burned it to ashes with a firetorch ;)
This is my first flying wing build and having trouble getting any help but my setup is f405 wing,r xsr recevier, radiomaster tx 16s and inav 2.5. I flashed my board with inav 2.5 and flashed r xsr with latest firmware.i wired r xsr according to matek 5v,ground green wire sbs and yellow t2, it binds quickly when power up with usb with green and blue light. Ive done calabrations, set serial rx in uart2,and enabled sbus. Problem is no stick inputs in recevier port in inav, radio shows stick inputs on monitor in inputs, mixer and outputs.Im lost at this point I reflashed inav, checked wiring have tryed to get advise last 3 days on youtube but i guess they cant or wont help no response. I do notice on inav main page it show configurator 2.5 and under that says 2.4. Is this normal? What else can i try? Thanks
Eg Treadway hey thanks for the question. Are you 100% sure that the flight board is compatible with inav 2.5? Most of the other stuff sounds pretty correct In my head but I’ve never used inav before. Make sure also that your radio under the model that you are using has the correct receiver combinations. (D16 etc). Let me know how that goes, ill try find out if there’s anything else that’s odd.
@@ReubenRasmussen Thanks so much for response and I will research this board, As far as radio it would only bind to one believe me i have about worn buttons off this new radio but it binds great and shows 5 bars signal on home screen, I never run into anything like this. Thanks again
Hi, I had the same problem, that is, betaflight with omnibus f4 v3 did not recognize me as the ibus receiver, in the end I solved the problem, it was the tin soldering I had done in the picking pitch ppm / sbus ie between the CENTRAL PIN and Pin SBUS was not done well, it looked good but did not touch, it did not make contact, I had to pour some more tin on and kept the soldering iron resting for 2 seconds so that the melting tin soldered well the 2 pads between them . The receiver I used is a TGY ia6C turnigy where it says that it is sbus, but in reality betaflight recognizes it only if it is set as ibus receiver, while the remote control is a turnigy tgy i6. so I solved it and it worked. Hello Lingua italiano . Ecosi ho risolto.
ive been at this for abt 4 hours. i have no broken parts, no loose connections and everything is set up correctly. yet i still get nothing on my receiver tab.. this is driving me nuts and i might just throw this flight controller in the bin
@@ReubenRasmussen so. omnibus f4v3 FC with FAILSAFE_RX nothing is visibly broken, so i thought maybe my receiver pooped out. whacked out the spare receiver, bound it aaand nothing, the same error. i change my sbus pads around. to the little ittle mini ones mentioned and bridged them, nothing changed, so i switched back to the orignal ''RC'' labelled pads that take SBUS, and thats where i am at. thinking i may just need a new flight controller at this point. my motors spin correctly through betaflight, i just cant get any signal at all through my receiver to FC.
also thanks for replying, this community is really helpful and i hope that in a couple of years time, im among the advice givers, not receivers :D@@ReubenRasmussen
