Omnipod 5 iPhone App - What I think So Far

1. I agree that on the graph is should give me a time bracket and the count down on the “Change Pod” for the extra 8 hours. 2. I would like to see in activity mode that I can put in what activity I am doing (walking, running, hiking etc.) 3. I use the “Enter BG” (with my PDM) just to let me know what my finger stick is compared with my Dexcom. I see no effect with the Omnipod. If my FS is more or less than my Dexcom, then I collaborate my Dexcom in the Dexcom app.

I can’t wait for the app on my iPhone. I live in Arizona and it’s expected to come out mid October this year. I’m excited. Also July 31st was my bday.

Would love to know a release date for this app on iPhone, keep reading “release date 2024” only 4 months left of 2024 haha😅

I’ve been on OP5 for 15 mo. & it’s been great, still getting mixed details, when the change comes, when the approval comes, will the pod & dex sensors change. Trying to better understand if I have to use all my old supplies so the change will be more seamless ?

Hi Justin. For unlocking the app, do you have to use a face lock or can you use a pin? If you have to use a face lock can you add multiple people. As a caregiver it would be restrictive to have to unlock the app with my son’s face at 1 in the morning. Thanks!

Why are you required to change the Omnipod every three days? Why can’t you discontinue until you run low on insulin then change it

does the app work on IOS16? I have iphone 8 which tops out at ios 16

When urgent alerts come on the pod that I am using, can I adjust settings to have a vibration only? I prefer to be as discreet as possible.
