Omori is a game that means so much to me, but is a game I could never play again. Not because there's anything wrong with the game, just personal events that relate the game to a very unfortunate moment in life. I played this game back in the fall of 2022 because a lot of friends recommended it. Quite literally two hours after I finished the credits song, I received word that my aunt/godmother passed away from her cancer. I don't mean to be super depressing, but I want to thank you for creating a song that so very much captures the feeling of Omori.

As someone who know nothing about Omori, there's still plenty to find meaning in here. There's a very specific feeling captured here, and it means a lot to me to hear someone else vocalize that feeling. Easily one of my new favorite songs of yours, if not favorite songs ever.

I love how this song is perfectly able to protray Sunny's mental state and his emotional problems without needing to spoil the game this was amazing and Zach's voice fits Omori way too well 10/10

Dang so I’ve listened to this song probably a hundred times by now. I have learned several things about this song or at least how I interpret it. First verse is about sunny talking about his problems, but still hopeful things will get better. There is slight static throughout the whole song as well as subtle distorted sounds, as Sunny’s mental state gets worse during the second verse there’s more distorted sounds and are slightly louder but still subtle. First chorus is Omori and sunny talking but sunny is more in the background and ends with sunny yelling for the first half and second half of the chorus. Second verse is of sunny talking again, but more so giving up instead of being hopeful like the first verse showing his mental state getting worse. Then the second Chorus has Omori talking with sunny AND Mari in the background. Given the lyrics of the chorus, it makes sense that Mari would be there as sunny starts gaslighting himself when his mentality gets worse. Then Mari ends the song. There’s also the Easter egg of the “something” word used multiple times in the lyrics. I already love this song and respected the effort that went into it, but now I respect it even more.

I mean I’m late to the song but holy shit, this is an insanely accurate song. I’ve heard a lot of songs about depression and the like but not once have I related to a line more than “Thought I want to grow up, ready, but I wasn’t.” Nothing prepared me for a crushing amount of responsibilities I didn’t understand when I turned 18 especially the fact that COVID started getting serious literally the month of my birthday when I was supposed to celebrate becoming an adult.

This is genuinely my favorite song. I find it so relatable and just the song of my life. It also inspired me to get the game! I started playing it, and it’s really good! I’m sorry if you’ve gone through the same thing this song describes.
