Someone wanted the mirrors checked in Other Ending, surprisingly SUNNY's mirror had something different. This is probably already documented but I figured I'd upload this anyways.
I reloaded when I realized I couldn’t get back to Basils house. I realized that whatever endings awaited me at Sunny’s house would be worse than confronting Basil.
@@bensweetser7647 That's my favorite part about the neutral endings honestly. The way you're locked in the moment you get home. Not when you pick up the knife, not when you go to bed, but as soon as you abandon the outside world. That is some S-tier videogame storytelling right there!
I figured it wasn't exclusive to this moment. If you find another instance of this let me know. I think it's good to have documentation of these things for completions sake.
@@Astolotl i believe its one of the ones that can proc if yoy open the door after eating the steak too. I think there are 3 that can proc there, the other 2 being SOMETHING and Mari with a crooked neck like in parts of Black Space
I found the mirror with Mari strangely comforting until i realized she’s so tall because she’s hanging I used to think it was the slightest bit of sunny’s consciousness accepting what happened or maris spirit wanting to comfort him
Dude, I was like "Oh it's gonna be that weird something with 1 eye again, I'm totally ready for it this time"...I think my soul left my body for a split second
No I actually think that Mari after the piano scene is actually the real Mari just in Spirit Form to tell sunny that no matter what he did to her she will always love him and watch over him and that she is trying to tell Sunny to forgive himself and move on and be happy since I'm pretty that's what Mari wanted to tell after the little visit to the piano room but then after those we're all Sunny's hallucinations
@@miniatureben3558 I don't think it's actually Mari or a spirit, but just Sunny seeing Mari in his head, and her saying what he feels she would say. The reason I think this is that Sunny's personal journey would be undermined if he just had a spirit to drop in and conveniently tell him everything was ok. He needs to mentally get there himself. That's also why we don't get to see if his friends forgive him in the end or not. It's about his own inner journey and struggle to forgive himself, not about his friends or Mari forgiving him.
I took a screenshot on my phone and messed with the brightness and other things to make her more visible, and in my photo she doesn’t even have a mouth.
Maybe I'm just weird, But i found it actually kind of comforting to see Mari in the mirror (i saw her after she played on the piano), even after hero turned up she was still there with Sunny, in what little capacity she could be.
The Mari mirror scene happened to me after the piano scene with Hero. At that point I wasn't really scared of Mari. It was more like I just wanted to hug her.
