In this video I unbox the OMP Hobby Super Decathlon. What an excellent kit! I'm extremely impressed with the quality of the build, components and covering. This should be great fun to put together, and I don't forsee it taking me more than a couple of hours before she's ready to fly.

A pity that so few kits are available these days, mostly just ARF's, which do not fit my idea of what a 'kit' is. Where's the fun in a model someone else built?

Yes Ted, you are correct sir. Gone are the days that you could go to the hobby shop and buy a box of pre-cut balsa and ply and turn it into a flying machine. As for the fun, for some it's just about the flying, for others about building. I think it's subjective, like music or art. It's up to the individual to decide whether or not they like a given aspect of the hobby.
