Thanks, Dan and Dov. Great discussion, as always. It's so frustrating beng blamed for our illness, and enduring dumb tips for overcoming it, the worst of which is to have a better attitude. Most people who've made it to or past middle age have dealt with some sort of lingering mystery illness or pain. They took steps to overcome it and it eventually resolved. So they give themselves or their chosen treatment the credit. The fact is that time heals almost all of these mystery conditions, so they would have recovered no matter what they did, and regardless of their positive or negative thinking. It's a false sense of control and attribution of credit. But if the passage of time has failed to cure your particular condition, then you are blamed.

Just found your channel, I can relate to this. Severe ME here. I wish I could just live and be able to do all I want whenever I want it...

Hello guys! Recently I got much better, I'll share it soon, that's not the point - my friend is struggling with depression or something similar, he doesn't have a diagnosis - and now that I'm not as focused on my illness it struck me how dumb it feels to not be able to help somebody.
