Very cruel to the mules carrying so much load, slipping continously on dangerous tracks. We humans are cruel to use animals in extreme conditions for our own whims!
its totally independent of ladkah or any part of india culturally, genetically, and in terms of landscape.. people of gilgit baltistan are more similar to afghans and tajiks than to any group in india.. the baltistan scouts joined pakistan and expelled dogra colonists in 1947

Though this place is not Pakistan. It is disputed and legally belongs to india. Any educated people can research online and read instrument of accession signed by king of Jammu and Kashmir to merge it into India as required by all princely states to do while choosing a dominion between India and Pakistan. This was the law passed from British parliament Indian independence act of 1947
