Part of a documentary series about life on a Koi Farm, an excellent look into culling, breeding, Koi development, the highs and lows, and what it takes to produce top quality Show Koi.
I just discovered your channels and am learning about the beautiful koi. As I check out your channels, I find learning about the koi and how you raise them most interesting. Thank you for putting out such informative and educational videos. I very much enjoy them.
What a fascinating collection of facts go into raising Koi. Genetics, environmental facts, food, etc. It's a full time job watching and recording. No doubt a lot of sharing information with other breeders. Thank you for producing these excellent videos.
Brady one thing is for sure it takes alot of hours spent time and hard work to get a video out like this I appreciate your work ethic and also the quality of what you are showing us, yeah I know this vid is 3 years in but that really dont matter , I found your channel 2019 and for me personally I'm so pleased I did , even if you dont do this on the scale you did back in the day I wish you all the best , happy days Brady ✌✌👍👍👈.
Beautiful high quality kohakos . You must feel proud. I enjoy watching your videos . It’s like having a mini vacation to your koi farm.... thank you....
Beautiful fish! where can we get some of your Koi? I would even take some of the culls, I love to experiment. I know the rules for quality but I do it for my enjoyment know one else. Also, chop those pollywogs up they are a great food source my koi love them.
WOW! there's not a whole lot of people doing this in the United States is there? great video , I would love to farm Koi and respect dude that's alot alot! of work....
Ok. So I'm just starting to dive deeper into koi. My question to you is, do the Japanese breeders run into the same problems with the defects and deformities when they are doing their culling as well or is it something that American breeders have happening? And if so is it because we have more limited genetics, less history and knowledge in breeding them, different climate and nature in which we breed and raise them? Would be interested in hearing your thoughts.
