Good review! Bought a new 2019 Corvette Grand Sport, with a MANUAL TRANSMISSION, and it’s a great car! Huge power, fantastic handling, and with the magnetic ride control, the car goes from track stiff to cruising smooth in an instant. My wife even asks when we can go for drives in the Grand Sport, and that rarely happens with my NSX. Buy one, if at all possible, life is short.

dont knock the auto paddle shift. dont talk to me but the 8spd auto paddle shift keeps me driving. i cant shift a standard because of injuries in vietnam. the auto shifts like a standard with the paddles and i love it. ask corvette racing what they use? i drove over 8,000 miles the first three weeks last november with 29.9mpg. this was on inter states, state rdd, county rds and even 100 miles on gravel. and i always gey 17.5 to 21.1 around the town. better than gm says. my 08 c6 Z51 was grest but i wouldnt go back. i love my 15 Z06 coupe. what a car. it is so comfortable during my long trip i only stopped for coffee, bathroom breaks and to feed rubi, my cat. i would sleep a couple hours here or there in the vette, no motels. i have constant nerve pain. started in vietnam in 68 and after 7 surgeries has only gotten worse but when we're in our Z06 i have never had more pain, one comfortable car. thanks for the video, very good.

Just bought a 2016 zo6 with the zo7 package and loaded. Paid $74k, The guy before me paid $105k for it and sold it with just 2300 miles. It's cherry!!!

Just bought one of these last summer. Now I can't wait until next summer to get it back on the road. Awesome ride.

Actually the 6.2 liter LT4 is actually very small in fact it will fit inside the dimensions of a 4.4 liter BMW v8 the small block chevy is a very small power dense motor.

I ordered mine Even tho I live In Thailand and the prices are basically triple what it is in USA. But this car is worth it.

these new vetts changed the way i think about the corvette from take it or leave it to hell yes 2013 and up models.saw a new black zo6 go buy on the highway the other day, damn thing was just as wide as the passing lane, was doing about 80 mph looked like it was just loafing around and bored lol, could just imagine how fast that thing could move out on the highway if it wanted too,just needs wings lol,awesome.

I have an almost identical '19 Z06 that's for sale. Same color, same wheels, same trans, data recorder, sports seats, etc., and with the ClearBra, it stickered for just under $90k. This video helped me make my buying decision, and I've loved and pampered this car, but it's time to move on.

Just want to say, good job and good video. I've never seen any of your videos before, but I appreciate the no-nonsense educated, but not over the top opinions, and a good blend of some novel (from my perspective at least) technological explanation. To be honest, I enjoyed this more than many of the other C7 Z06 review vids out there. Driving fast and crazy reactions at the limit are great, but some explanation of how, what, and why changes have been made are super interesting to learn. Thanks for the 6 minutes!

You cannot shift faster than the paddle. The Paddle auto is faster. You can shift with both hands on the wheel. It is superior to the manual in every way. So turn in the manual shifter along with your rotary phone.

It doesn't make sense. Unless you live on a racetrack, where could you drive this car? I was pulled over 9 times in my 2016 Maserati in 2 months after acquiring it in December. Imagine if I had this Z06? I'd be in jail....

think I'd rather spend 54 grand on a base stingray, and just add a supercharger on it and have it tuned nicely. you'd have a monster of a car for less than 65 grand, and one that was factory limited at. 185mph like this car is.....I'm a dragstrip and top speed kinda guy, not a track racer, so all the little scoops and vents added on don't interest me as much....just good brakes will do
