First attempt -Wow! Looks great! I watched the whole video and that tippling brakeman never once put down that bottle. That’s what I call Focus! Nerves of Steel, obviously!
I like this design and layout and it looks very real because I have seen that you have mostly real plants. The locomotive is very fine. Very well done.
Many thanks David I have nearly finished a Porter engine iv been playing with, and thought i would try again hopefully a little smoother this time, thanks for the encouragement Carl
What a lovely thought 🥰many times I have wished there was someone with the same interests in our village, In our new home im going to open up the model room once a month to see if I can get folk interested, and if I can get my Son onboard he might do a live video chat
What is the footprint of this layout? I want to try to make something similar for my new on30 train, gonna be a renegade logger theme. My first dcc, I’m excited. I’m also challenged in the “unused square footage” category, my place is small. Is 2’x4’ unrealistic in on30 with a grade/hill climb and a tunnel?
Great work, I like what you have created with a figure 8 and with sidings. Its marvellous what yo have done in a small area . What is the overall dimensions of the Layout? Please
Hi Colin, thank you for your kind words. I copied my plan from an 009 gauge layout I saw many years ago. It measures 800 x 2000cm. I've enjoyed modelling this layout immensely and am slightly reluctant to be selling it. All the best.
@@colinkonig1438 Good Morning Colin, Couldn't live much further away from you, I'm in the UK, but if I am to sell the layout, I hope it goes to someone like yourself.
Thanks Shane, the water was a total accident, I did the usual, a coat of plaster then painted it and then applied one coat of matt varnish, knowing it would take about six coats, but the first one took a couple of days to dry. So I got fed up and just poured it on (quite thick). As it was drying, it started to ripple, I thought, that's a result. and have used it a couple of times since. I would recommend the cheapest varnish you can get. Happy modelling.
If you knew the driver you would understand the need for the bottle haha, I like your idea re the bandits, I will see what I can come up with but did you notice the mountain cougar? They might end up as breakfast !
@@dimitrz2000 My apologies, just watched the On30 clips and there are no clear shots of the cougar. As a matter of fact there's quite a lot I've added to the layout since, so need to do a more up to date one. Please say tuned.
Hi Adam its 11inc radius the Heisler handles them easily iv sold this layout a few weeks ago and im starting a new layout so will see just how tight i can get it with out looking stupid
Hi Matt, thanks for the interest. It's a Bachmann Heisler loco, just dirted up a bit. Mine has been converted to remote control, but they all run really well.
Thanks Larry i hadn't noticed how flimsy they looked , i gave this layout away 12 months ago but will pass your comment on to its new owner, Happy modelling all the best Carl
