I just picked upa version of this generator with a no crank issue, somethings odd, just not sure where to start, having trouble finding a schematic for it. good you found the problem.
I have a newer one here and the last thing I tried was pulling on the throttle while the electric start was working. Fired up immediately. The choke was engaging but there was no fuel coming through
Nice easy way to adjust the points. I wish my Coleman genset with the Honda 390 had a electric starter. It's a bugger to pull but it does start pretty good.
