I must admit I loved the Renault's 25 and 26 with the Mild Seven livery... also.. that sound! The Renault always sounded nice also I'm sure we'd agree there. Also as a bit of trivia, Renault was the only team to brand their full tobacco livery during this race, Marlboro (Ferrari) and Lucky Strike (BAR) were barred due to common knowledge and Mild Seven I believe was a brand you couldn't get in Eastern Europe.
I always found it so odd how lazy the front end was on that Renault, but he found a way to switch on the tyres by being aggressive on turn in, and he made it work somehow. Amazing driver!
@@ciaronsmith4995Renault started to use the mass damper in september 2005 and stopped using it in Hockenheim 2006. So for more than half of the 2005 season Fernando made this happen without mass damper. In this race also. So stop, please.
@@MrThedestroy3r Alonso did not deserve 2005 and benefitted from a Mass Damper throughout a lot of both seasons. This significantly diminsihes his achievements in these years.
He drove amazingly, but the Michelin tyre was in a class of its own at this race. He was up to 7 seconds per lap faster than Schumacher. No one is that much faster than MS in the wet.

@@ciaronsmith4995 The greatest drivers can handle any car, the ideal car can drive even pussy. That is diference beetween Senna, Alonso, Clark, Fangio Shumacher in one group and for example the ordinary drivers like Raikonen, Bottas, Massa, and thousands others.
