Mother Nature was meant to put on us a mirror! Cause we humans are the seed of chaos and love and justice at the same time! We destroy our planet and by that we destroy Mother Nature herself
No. Because when story parameters are set in place and are carried throughout the series, something as painfully serious as keeping a parent from his child, then I hate it when those parameters are then just thrown aside. He’s standing literally right next to her, but we saw in flashbacks the damage was completely debilitating.
After all the sheer narcissism seen in the parents throughout this season with their kind-hearted daughters struggling--to see Alice say, so powerfully,”You chose hate, but I choose love” meant everything.
This season was kinda a complicated mess but I really like where it led to. As much as I liked drizella they should’ve just stuck with a rapunzel/Alice storyline and skipped the Cinderella.
they were cashing in on the into the woods movie for this season. cinderella, jack and the beanstalk, and rapunzel. just replace red riding hood with princess and the frog.
@@peterswift5703 Not quite there with Emma. But If Emma got more into her savior powers she would’ve easily taken on more powerful villains. Unfortunately Emma only went toe to toe with Merlin as the dark one.
Anyone else realize the music is a slightly altered version of when Killian gets stabbed and stops the Dark Ones and Emma stops being a Dark One. It the part where he goes “that’s enough” “being the man I want to be” 5x11 I think
I really hate these times when they super hype the season but it becomes a let down. Begin with Drizella being the true caster of the Dark Curse. Then, the entrance of the Coven of the Eight. Seriously, having the Guardian storyline complicated the finale season. Henry should have been at the center of the season and the remaining cast. The coven is already a lot of characters, so having more characters enter is just a headache.
Chaos champion the problem was... Emma, who is practically the protagonist of the show, is out. Everyone has gotten their happy endings of some sort. They knew this would have a lot of drawback to the series. As the show progressed, the number of viewers have been drastically decreasing. They should have known that the series would be cancelled after this season. But no... they planned too far ahead and assumed it would still continue. What I’m saying is... with all of those things, they should have crafted season 7 as a season that did the things people were hoping for in season 6 such as conclusion if Lily’s story and Mulan’s storyline. By also reminiscing the previous seasons (reinclude Merida, Dorothy, Red, Cruella, Lily, Elsa and Anna, Ariel, Cora), people would get a sense of “wow this series is really ending now” season 7 may have been good in some aspects, if it was an independent season, but considering it was the series finale, they should really have been more careful.
@@enricobasbas7221 honestly, i expected season 7 to be about Roland, robin, neal(snowing), hope(captain swan's baby), Alice, violet, henry, and also basically all the young ones in season 6. but they just ruined it by bringing in all these alternate reality characters. Henry should've been with violet and gone thru a journey like snow and charming
"You are NOT my mother! You want to ruin me the way the world ruined you, but I'm not like you. I'm not an outcast. I'm not an orphan, or street rat, or some crazy girl who lost her way. You chose hate, but I chose love. I'm sorry your life twisted into something you never meant it to. I promise I will do better, for everyone." One of the best and most powerful quotes ever.
Because admittedly Gothel is stronger than Regina, Zelena, and Rumple combined. Gothel can likely be defeated by light magic and in this case it's her daughter Alice (aside from Emma) that has it. When Rumple regained his memories he couldn't make a way to defeat Gothel despite of how cunning he is without his powers plus fireball is Regina's trademark aside from ripping hearts.
I feel like whenever they introduce a new villain that’s very powerful, or is very intimidating, they easily die afterwards. Take Fiona for example, when Rumple easily turned her into dust with a wand, and Fiona was literally the Black Fairy
you are right, and here are several examples Emma has killed cruella very easily with her powers by making her fall from the ravine snow has killed Cora using the candle that transferred the poison from rumple at Cora rumple has killed zelena very quickly with his dagger (I know we find out later that zelena is still alive)
Some more examples Pan also died pretty pathetically, when all Rumple had to do was just stab Pan in the back with the DOD (dark one dagger) Gideon got turned into a baby because TrUe LoVEs kIiS can wake up someone from the dead Ingrid, although I find her death pretty sad, as we didn’t get to see a whole bunch of her, but she could’ve just killed Anna and then threw the letter away, and let everyone kill each other, since the spell of shattered sight. (if you know what I’m talking about with Anna, when Emma, Anna and Elsa confronted Ingrid, Ingrid started to choke Anna Lastly, we have Hades, when he was easily just killed by the Olympian Crystal by Zelena, and I know Olympian crystal could easily kill you, but I just wish they made Hades close enough to conquer Storybrooke, and then they could kill him off, but I’m happy Zelena stopped him from killing poor Regina, and Regina also lost Robin which I was so MAD 😡 ngl
gothel "I am your mother" here's what I would have said if I had been alice/tilly "you may have created me, but you have never been my mother, the mothers are tender, they protect their children and they take care of their educations, it is the captain killian jones hook who all his life has been watching over me and protected, and my friends are part of my family, and you are not welcome among us"
@@soixsantes No she didn't Gothal was made fun of, abandoned, captured, and traped, for what reason? Reviving a flower. Then being stuck there for years with no one to talk to I can understand why she is angry. I feel like no one really tried to save Gothal they just wanted to defeat her.
@@deprimiertSchwuchtel True, she's been awfully traumatised, we are reminded once again, "evil isn't born, it's made", and it's a tragedy Gothel never got a second chance; but Gothel's atrocities were every bit as bad as what she was put through. Sadly, a wrong doesn't justify a wrong, even if we understand why Gothel behaved so. :c
This show was meant to give us a mirror cause from the 7 season it was going to show with Mother Nature as the main character how much demons we are on our own - we are all just children of Mother Nature but we destroy her and by that our own seed of life!
So we're just gonna ignore that Alice just DEFEATED Gothel in a matter of seconds when Regina failed completely? I mean, not even Rumple or Zelena took on Gothel in a fight. Alice's got to be one of the most powerful characters of the OUAT franchise, like Merlin level...
Regina despite of being redeemed doesn't completely use light magic unlike Emma and the same goes with Rumple. Light magic was needed to defeat Gothel and Alice has it.
@@harveyblackwood3563 sure but Alice's light magic must be very powerful to defeat Gothel like that... Besides, with her Guardian power she was able to hold the darkness of the Dark One. She can wield both Darkness and light, she's incredibly powerful, even though she has little experience
So if light magic can beat gothel then that explains why they had to get rid of emma because emma would've been too powerful for gothel. Not to mention she still possess some of the dark ones power.
I'm pretty sure they just "got rid of Emma" because the actress was basically homesick and it had nothing to do with the storyline at first but you're right, it does fit.
I am not sure if Emma could have bested Gothel... I mean, she lost many battles to villains who were less powerful than Gothel. On s2 she and the Charmings were pretty much unable to hurt Cora, until Snow used the candle... On s3 Zelena managed to neutralize Emma's powers and Emma didn't even manage to lay a finger on Zelena. On s4 Ingrid effortlessly choked Regina and Emma simultaneously. On s6 the Evil Queen trapped Regina and Emma her in a mirror in a matter of seconds... Emma was also nearly killed by the Black Fairy's spider and she had to be rescued. At one point the Black Fairy was almost able to take away Emma's powers by shaking her confidence. Then Emma got her confidence back and she broke the Black Fairy's spell on her family and she successfully protected herself from the Black Fairy. However she only managed to defend herself, she didn't actually hurt the Black Fairy. When she went against Rumple with the power of all the Dark Ones she failed, and when she had the power of the Dark One and the power of the Saviour combined, she still lost to Merlin. All in all she's not very consistent. She still doesn't know much about magic and she's been bested in many fights. Gothel is Rumple/Fiona's league, I am not sure Emma would able to take her on. Besides imo Alice is stronger than Emma. She effortlessly overpowered Gothel and she wasn't even angry, she barely tried and she succeded in what Rumple, Zelena and Regina had failed to do. She also had the Guardian Power, which gives her the ability to hold and control the Darkness of the Dark One. Imo she's more powerful than Emma and she has a greater magical aptitude, which makes sense since she's Gothel's daughter. Emma's power usually manifests itself in a white blast, while Alice's spell against Gothel turned her into a tree and then she conjured some flowers out of nothing. It seems to me like Alice has more control over her magic, being able to do more complex things than just shooting blasts of energy, even though she's younger than Emma and she hasn't received any formal training. In power ranking I'd put Alice above Emma, simply for the fact that she overpowered Gothel and that she never got her ass kicked, unlike Emma.
Despite all the shit the happened to her life, Alice still chose love over hate and revenge. I guess Cora was wrong all along when she said that love is a weakness.
after having spending 17 years in the tower, alice has decided of enjoy the most of her new life and has visited of many worlds, and when she has meet robin his happiness has been finally complete
The problem I hated with this season was that there were too many storylines and every time you thought you were watching the true storyline for the season, they were like “Oh sorry no, you were wrong. Here’s where we’re going. Oh no sorry again, we’re really going in this other direction.” It was very similar to season 2. I mean first it was the wicked stepmother, then it was the guy killing witches, then it was Mother Goethel. At some point they implied Facilier was the big bad. Finally we find out the final big bad of the season is Wish Realm Rumple and Wish Realm Henry.
It was rushed. Supposedly there was going be a S8 where Gothel's the big bad and found a way to acquire the Rumple's power without turning into the Dark One but they scrapped it off.
They should have ended this show 1 season earlier. The dark fairy was the final evil and it should have ended there. Gothel was an interesting villain though.
I think season 7 was more like a reboot but I agree season 6 should have been the final season but they should have kept some of the elements from the last few episodes of season 7
In OUAT, S7 had different versions of characters they'd had in previous seasons i.e. Cinderella, Rapunzel, Hansel, etc. It's the same with Alice. A different version of Alice in Wonderland. So what?
@@WhatTheDogDoin0493 no, gothel did not raised alice, she voluntarily abandoned him at his birth, it was hook who stayed in the tower to watch over alice
@@Midnight.Creepypastas I stop being able to follow the show after finding out that Bayfire was Rupils son. I realized it was a soup opera with no end and they would just keep creating disaster after disaster for the characters.

Another example of why i think Evilly's unfair. Gothel suffered like Evil-Queen but she gets cruelty and punishment. Evil-Queen didn't. Why this show sucks because it's centered around one bad character. Gothel needed the saving. If Queenie can change so can her. Everyone just believed in her because she made them scared. She didn't deserve to be queen in the end.
Darkuss Sovereign I feel like they would’ve kept her around if they had a season 8 and they only killed her bc the show was ending like they randomly killed facilier
What are u to talking about Gothel left her daughter to die then wanted her back when she realized how powerful she was. That would be like Regina taking in Henry because he’s Emma’s son and getting ride of him when he had no power.
