Music has no boundaries. I am marathi speaking. Not conversant with kannada at all. still I could understand the feelings in this devotional song Thanks to panditji. A great singer of our time.
Pandit venkatesh kumar not only knows how to pronounce each word of this composition, but their meanings as well. He takes this one more level by immersing himself in bhakti to get to the inner meanings of this great composition of Saint vadiraja, who is extolling his guru and dvita philosopher Saint Sri madhwacharya. Obviously Panditji's mastery on music adds to this to make it a out of the world experience for all.
My husband recommended this song to me and it mesmerised. 🙏🙏🙏 in the next 6 months he attained the lotus feet of the Lord. I don’t know how he liked this song so much though he didn’t know Kannada. This is actually a submission to the Lord to attain sadgati. 🙏🙏
When I heard this song for the first time about three months ago I liked it so much that I am listening to it almost every day. I am learning Kannada at present. I read the lyrics while listening . It gives me immense pleasure. What a command over music and very effective presentation by sir Venkatesh Kumar. I like his other abhangas and khayal in different ragas
This particular song has captivated our minds so much so that it's tuned in our house every day which is God's blessings through your perfect rendition. May God bless you Sir
