Jimin's long lost Jams I mean if you go online you can find several recipes for pizza, cookies, bread, literally everything and they are all about the same but everyone claims a recipe to be their own. I think she’s just trying to share this recipe that a lot of people might not be aware of. And I don’t think she every said that she came up with these recipes, just that she wanted to share them.
The chickpea flour pancakes is similar to a very common dish in India called besan cheela. It goes very well with different types of fillings( cheese, grilled veggies) once you make a plain crepe of chickpea flour. There are lots of Indian dishes made of chickpea flour which can also be made vegan. The most common ones are dhokla, besan cheela, khandvi and these are very healthy too. Please try these recipes. I would love to see your version of these recipes
Stanislava Simeonova her parents are afghani, and she was born in pakistan and I guess when she was 2, she moved to canada and then came here to netherlands as a visit, met her current bf and now a food blogger and digital content creator in netherlands. 😛 Too much, haha I know her now for past 3 years 😅 But she must have indian food in her diet, she made one specially with naan bonus 😬🤔
Sending light and love to you because sometimes life can seem so hard, but you are strong and can get through anything you set your mind to. God bless you love ✌️❤️💯
One of my biggest worries with going vegan is that 90% of the recipes I see online are cold dishes and I prefer warm food. Thank you for showing a bit of everything on your channel!
I've been vegan for a while now and I love sallads and cold food but not every meal every day :D There are soo many things one can cook! The Asian kitchen is often a go to, if you like Currys and Daal or nice dishes with tofu and loads of veggies, wonderful warm soups and so much more! Or you just make your favourite non-vegan meal vegan! What really helped me was stacking up on vegan cook books :)
Guys, these waffles!!! Made them today (cut the recipe in 1/3 for 1 serving) and topped it with almond yogurt, banana, and granola and it’s amazing! Seriously give it a try :)
I’ve been vegan for a month now, without actually realising it, just because I had so much fun trying so many of your recipes. I will definitely continue this vegan lifestyle, because I’ve realised how much better I feel.🧡 Tomorrow I’ll give the baked oatmeal a try :)
My mom makes me omlettes of moong beans. She ground it and makes a paste and then mixes some rice powder to it, so that when fried that omlette isn't oily or soggy. I love that recipe so much. Oh, and she adds onions and bell peppers and salt and all too.
Ikr😭😭😭😭😭 I can't wait to start earning a handsome amount so that I can make wholesome food choices and TRY OUT ALL THESE AMAZING RECIPES! Seriously, I'd have to sell my kidney here to afford just 3 months of plant milk in my country 😢😒😒 It's ridiculously overpriced. 😑
@@manaswitar.7185 make your own oat milk!!! it's so easy :) You just need a blender, oats and water... (+ some sweetener of your choice) and a cloth !!
I absolutely love how you encourage us to be healthy by slowly showing many, many healthier food options. I used to hate eating vegetables but you are one of the major factors that helped me transition to a healthier lifestyle. Now, I always look forward to eating veggies and fruits ❤️ lots of love~
Same, but I cant have dairy or eggs and even before I where just realy interessted in vegan dishes to up diversaty my cooking. I love to listen to her when I need some calm or to get down when I cant sleep
Can I just say your videos are so pleasant to listen to? The sound quality is amazing, I love the quiet background music & the little clacks & clicks of the cutlery you’re using. 🙌🏽🙌🏽 Genius
The chickpea flour (we call it Besan) "omelette" is my favorite ! we make it all the time in our family. It goes perfectly with mint+coriander chutney and ketchup too :)
Yes, it's super easy. Take bunch of Coriander, few leaves of mint, some peanuts, 1-2 chillies/Jalapenos, pinch of sugar, half a lime and salt to taste. Blend them all together to make it into a chutney. It's super simple and flavourful ! 😄
Sending you lots of love from London Sadia!! ❤️Your positivity and recipes have really helped me through some tough times at school in the last few years so thank you for being there for me ☺️I’m 18 and off to university this September and honestly, you are such an inspiring role model for me! Hope you know how beautiful and kind you are 🥰xx
That means so much, dhils, thank you for your kind words and for taking the time to share them with me. Wishing you all the best with your studies and life beyond. Honestly, university were some of my fondest years. Super tough at times, but an incredible experience - cherish it all! Lots of love
Aww thank you Sadia!! 😊Your reply honestly means so so much to me. Yes, I will definitely try to cherish and embrace everything in the future as positively and calmly as I can - thanks to a ton of your advice over the years! Gradually trying out your recipes when I first found you has helped me grow in more ways than I could imagine and I discovered that cooking and baking has really increased my confidence and self-esteem, especially through difficult times like now. Actually, my family and I are literally just about to eat your wonderful brownies and coincidentally enough, after a day of your orange oat bars and pad Thai, haha! Wishing you and Robin the best of luck in your beautiful journey and I will, as always, look forward to what’s next with Pick Up Limes. Keep on sparking joy Sadia! ✨💖Lots of love, Shannon xxx
Not only your dishes are amazing but also the way you speak, your kitchen, your food styling and everything else. It’s just superb! I am in awe of everything on pickup lines!!! Bloop bloop ❤️
I like your videos..specifically your kitchen with plants..when you r talking I've smiled on my face..I like your recipes because they're colourful filled with fruits and veggies and nutritious..thank you so much for videos.take care and stay safe.😊😊
I purchased your e- book today and I am so impressed. I look forward to opening the book to decide on what to make for dinner. It’s great to have the recipes all in one place. And I don’t have to try to remember which video had that certain recipe I remembered watching. You have quality content and I appreciate it!
There's a traditional Indian breakfast dish - Batter: Chickpea flour Chopped Onions Carom seeds Turmeric Red chili powder Salt Water Cook it in the same manner on a hot pan with some oil. It is so refreshing with a mint chutney. Delicious!
I love that you’re putting in your outtakes. It’s so nice to see that you’re just a human being like the rest of us and makes you even more beautiful because of it! Thank you
This channel is so rich..! I got so much help from your videos for my transition to vegan life. Really simple, delicious but nutritious recipes and also ideas. I love how you suggest alternatives or ideas so that I apply a bit different with what I can easily get dependent on the groceries or budget.
Same! 😅 Thankfully I'm alone here or people would wonder why I keep saying "pancake" all the time. "Now flip the omelette!" - "Pancake!" - "And put the omelette..." - "pancake..." - " onto your toast to make an omelette" - "pancake" - "sandwich." 😂 It looks really tasty, though. :D
Sadia, I am not Vegan but I do love your recipes. I was WFPB for a year and went back to traditional western cooking. I cannot wait to try these baked oatmeal bars and the chickpea omelet recipe. Thank you for your time and wonderful videos.
I love chickpea omelettes! They're my new favourite breakfast. They come out the same without flaxseed and I like to add a dash of baking powder to get a lighter texture
I just found you at the beginning of Covid and I think I have binge watched most of your videos of the past two years. You are my distance food, video, chef mentor ... thank for your authenticity.
This is amazing! The worst part of cooking is cleaning up and I have such a small sink that all the equipment piling up stresses me out! These recipes look amazing!
Heyy! I absolutely love you channel and your recipes, because of you I've learnt soo much about veganism, health ,success ,stress and sooo much more at such a young age ! ❤❤
LOVE that you're explaining the purpose of some of the ingredients! (Notably apple sauce) Please keep doing this, I feel many people don't understand the reasons for using some ingredients sometimes.
hey Sadia! thank you for this video! and the bloopers are hilarious!! I am going on a plant based diet this week, and so I was having a hard time making simple recipes! This video had some great ideas! thank you so much!
I'm so happy you mentioned the gluten free flour. As someone that likes the vegan diet but also has celiac, most vegan recipes or products are a nightmare for those of us that have to avoid gluten. This channel is amazing! Thank you!
I have always loved all your videos but these last couple have been my favorites! You’re always so cheerful and full of life, but somehow this video feels even more lively than before. Love your recipes, and can’t wait to try the baked oatmeal this week!
I tried the chickpea omelette this weekend and it was a hit especially with my hubby. I had to make a second batch for Monday morning breakfast prep. Thanks Sadia!
Delish! We will make the baked oatmeal tomorrow morning, cannot wait! Thank you for these breakfast ideas! We’ve been looking for other ideas besides instant pot oatmeal, tofu scramble and the occasional pancakes
Me and my s/o have made these about four different times already and everytime they are phenomenal! They give that McDonalds Egg Sandwich fix but taste a million times better! We put them on vegan olive oil toasted english muffins and they are soooo good!
www.ah.nl/producten/product/wi230778/ah-stevig-donker-meergranen-heel I think it is this one. The best option in the Dutch Supermarket yes (It looks less dark on the website)
Hi Sadia!!! We have been watching your channel for over a year now and really love your recipes!!! We are a vegetarian family but after watching your videos are slowly turning vegan!!🙂😋My teenage son is especially a fan of yours and has started cooking your meals! ... He cooked your chickpea omelette sandwich yesterday which we all thoroughly enjoyed!!!😋
One advice! Keep your grounded flax seed's container covered with a material layer that inhibits the light from reaching the seeds while you keep it in the fridge. Otherwise, the Omega 3 contained will fastly oxidate and it will lose all the benefits of the flaxseeds. Make and consume a weekly portion to keep it fresh, always in the fridge.
These videos are so peaceful and the recipes are always wholesome yet approachable. I couldn't ask for more!! The bloopers at the end are also amazing, please keep those in
I’m not vegan but all of these recipes look so good! I’ve been watching your channel for about 5 years now and I continue to get excited when your videos pop up!
I've been enjoying chickpea pancakes quite a bit lately. Interesting to see then made into a sandwich. No flaxseed binder. Just chickpea flour, water, spices, and yummy veggies like grated carrot, scallion, spinach, etc. Very filling!
I just wanna say that I love your recipes. Ive been trying to make more vegan recipes, and your recipes make it easier than other recipes/blogs ive read.
The pothos plant is my favorite plant and your kitchen is freaking COVERED in them!!! LOVE it. Just found your channel from Amy's recommendation video and so happy I did. Just wish I had all these ingredients to make these recipes! Everything on your video is SO aesthetically pleasing! GOALS.
It's interesting to see. In my culture, breakfast is hot and savory Lunch is hot and savory. Supper can be cold and sweet. The biggest meal in size is lunch, then breakfast, supper being closer to snack before bed.
No matter how I feel, as soon as I hear your voice I’m immediately calm and in zen mode. 2 for 1. Amazing recipes and super chill vibe. Love from Canada. :)
Try searching for a Crepe-pan :) That's how the company I work for calls it (it's a manufacturer of cookware). But I don't know what material the one in the video is. Hope this helps anyway 😊
Hey sadia❤️ your videos are amazing🔥 Well..I really love eating nuts...but i get pimples after eating nuts...why?have any tips to avoid pimples after eating nuts??? Stay safe ❤️pick up limes.
Hi just wanted to thank you so much I am on a journey to heal my relationship with food after anorexia ruined it and your view on food is so helpful to me even when I went to make your vegan Nutella I slipped and tried to look at the nutrition and then I saw the little message you put there and remember that my life should not be just a number
