This bit of the show deserves a standing ovation EVERY night...whe I finally get the chance to see this show, even if i am the only one standing i don't care.
Unfortunately, they've shortened it a bit. It used to have a couple more chants near the end. Now it's one segment of chanting "Gazilaba-tu", the female solo, one of "Nekokobe-tu" and then the whole "Kumnadi bagithi bo, etc.etc.etc" chant. I miss the longer version. This is still good, but it's way too short now.
I'm not going to lie, I really wish they kept the original lyrics for one by one. What the song actually means is so powerful and I feel the re-arrangement took away from that :/
theGagarianplanet its a transition into the 2nd half of the show. It’s called one by one. It’s to show the culture of African people surrounded by a waterhole being very happy, that is until it drys up due to scar taking over the pride lands. Very beautiful piece of art.
