I want to get a snake that can eat my rats if my ball pythons don’t eat cause I hate wasting my money and time and also the life of an animal. I know king snakes are hands down monster killers but I’m scared they will be bity due to their high appetite, are corn snakes good eaters? Better then ball python appetite? I do love the corn snake but I just see pictures I haven’t really got into any information on them. Also what is the biggest size prey item a king or corn snake will eat
Corn snake eats everything but they eat only 10% of their own weight. Usually adult corn is about 400g so they eat 40g rats. Adult mouse is 30g so they can only eat young rats. Big adult rats can weight +300g so corn snake is not good choise if you want a rat eater 🤔
