One Hour Baby Squirrel Cries To Attract Mother 

Oh my God. This worked. A baby squirrel fell from a 50 foot tree. I played this video near the fallen baby and Mama & Papa showed up within seconds looking for her baby. She carried him off back to the nest. I think he will be just fine. Thanks so much for the video. I saved a life today.

Today, a baby squirrel fell out of the tree in my front yard. I played this video and within 3 minutes, the mother squirrel ran back up. She quickly balled up the squirrel and climbed up the tree again. I'm thankful for this video. (I'm sure the baby squirrel is too)

I love this!!! I raised a baby I found last year, she decided to have HER baby in the house! She’s never been caged and comes and goes as she pleases. She’s probably spent a dozen nights if that outside. She goes outside for some fresh air and a run through the trees in the afternoon. Today she was outside playing for 3 hours , her baby was born on 8/12. I played the video and that baby barely got 2 squeaks and she came running!!! I opened the door and she went straight to her little one. 💕

This ended up working for me! Found a nest in a car and had to remove it. Mom came and got 3 out of the 5 near dark. I brought the other two in for the night then In the morning I set the box of babies out and played this next to them. The mom came in 20 minutes to the sound of this. Thank you!

Had someone call me with 3 baby grey squirrels in their nest on the ground. Had the finders put the nest at the base of the tree and play this next to them. Mom came and got all 3 babies! It worked!!!

Totally worked, instantly got momma's attention! She came back and collected her babies after a hawk tore their nest down. Also attracted a local barred owl after a few minutes -- might have gotten momma if I hadn't been there!

With the caveat that I'm definitely not an expert, I think the call in this video may be from a gray squirrel. I had no luck getting a response from the mama fox squirrel whose babies were blown out of their nest during a storm. I gave a different RU-vid video a shot, specifically noted in the description as a fox squirrel baby's call, and the mama squirrel came running down the tree and started chattering at me before the video was done playing. After a quick sniff she scruffed each baby and hauled them up into the tree one by one. If you're not sure which type of squirrel you're dealing with I'd suggest trying this video and also the video titled "Baby fox tree squirrel calls for mom then yawns." Play it on a loop. This idea works perfectly if the mama is anywhere around. A mama squirrel just came back and retrieved 3 babies blown out of the nest during a storm here today.

Worked for me! Had a nest fall out of our tree with 4 babies inside. I placed the nest at the base of the tree and played these sounds through a bluetooth speaker. The speaker was next to the nest and mama came less than 2 hours later.

Earlier today 4 baby squirrels fell out of a tree near my apartment building right as I was passing by… just heartbreaking. I waited back and watched as mom came back to retrieve her babies one by one. It became clear to me that she must’ve mistakenly thought an additional baby had passed because she kept nudging him like she did the deceased baby, then left and didn’t come back… I waited an hour before it started getting worryingly cold and a flock of crows gathered. I know now this is considered interfering with nature, but I kept having to shoo them away from the surviving squirrel and they were becoming increasingly aggressive. Things were looking very bad… so my husband came with a box and off we went to PAWS wildlife rehab. He had no injuries, but was hypothermic and unfortunately they did not have the room to keep him. Thank GOD they sent me this audio. After they warmed him up, I put him in the box with some Hand warmers, a towel, and my phone playing this audio. I was so worried it wouldn’t work because his mom had already thought him dead, but the sounds must’ve drawn her back to the site where he fell. It took a couple hours and I had to stand at a safe distance to defend the box against the flock of crows again, but eventually she came back and got her baby! If anyone reading this is in the same situation, this is DEFINITELY worth a shot. Don’t lose hope if you don’t spot mom or dad immediately, because apparently squirrels can have backup nests in case something like this happens with the original. Thank you so much for this audio!

I just found a baby squirrel I don't know how long it's been there but it's itty bitty it's all warm in a box I'm playing the sounds of a mom of a baby crying and nothing yet I'm so nervous I don't want this squirrel to die

Hey if you are feeling insecure on if this really works and not on the dang mama well a baby squirrel falled out of the palm tree i have literally 3 storys high and the nest and squirrel falled thankfuly on the grass but in the middle of all my dogs so i got the dogs in and whent out to put a pee pad on the grass and i got the nest amd placed it on top and i made a little hole in the middel of the nest like a bird would and i covered the squirrel on top and i played this on full volume and placed it under the pee pad and i waited 30 mins into this and the mama finally came back and wrap the baby squirrel in here mouth and left to a new tree thanks for this 1 hour video it really helps please spread this across youtube....it takes for ever tho babysitting and haveing nothing to do with out the phone

Can we still reunite it the next day? We tried today ( it is the second day) we waited only an hour and it was cold even we put it in the blanket in the box. It’s 3 weeks old, the eye is still closed. Will try again later. Hopefully it works.

It worked! Took little over half an hour. She came snooping around almost instantly, but I had them in a blanket. Took them out and no time at all she came and got both of them.

A Hawk attacked a nest in the backyard and the mom cried and cried looking for her babies, I was able to grab 3/4 ( one passed away 😭), put in a shoebox, and play the sound underneath and mom grabbed one at time and brought to safety

My dad knocks on my door & says "here". Suddenly I'm responsible for a tiny furry life 😳. Made calls & a rescue organization told me about this trick. It's little eyes were open at least. Curled up & went to sleep as soon as I swaddled it in a blanket. Just It's cute little nose sticking out. Mom was looking when we walked up so hopefully she'll find her baby!

15 mins it worked! The adult squirrel (s) running around the perimeter for a while then came down examined the box, tipped it over, picked up the baby in its mouth and off it went! I put a Bluetooth speaker by the box and controlled it from a distance with my phone. Gave it a little more volume than my phone which may have helped get the word out initially.

The call didn't work for me until after the little squirrel passed 😔😥

Help! I played this from a Bluetooth speaker 3 feet fron baby and mom came to the speaker within a min.. I then out baby in a box with speaker covered speaker with a towel. Been playing for hours and mom hasnt came back.... Any suggestions??

My cat brought home a very young baby, hairless and the opening of the eyes can even be seen. managed to rescue it b4 the cat killed it by playing too.much with it. am desperate to get any mana to come n get it because my husband needs hospitalization some time today which means I will not be home for many many hours... I worry for its survival.

We had a nest behind our basket ball hoop that my dad nocked down and behind it was 3 baby squirrels but only two started making this noise so the mom came and got them but one wasn’t making the noise so overnight we put it in the garage and today we got a speaker, box and yeah. update the mom is dumb so it kept thinking that it’s baby was the speaker so it went around and by the box but didn’t look inside. Edit 2 ok it looked inside but didn’t see the baby my mom went out and took it out of the box we now wait.

Just to let you know it took 9 minutes for the mom to come running in and grab up her baby!

Didn't work out yet for me unfortunately. Found a baby squirrel in the backyard yesterday and tried out this method yesterday and today as well but all the squirrels that passed by didn't come by the box and some of them just ignored it. Gotta try again tomorrow
