One Interesting Detail about All 27 Killers! (Dead by Daylight)

Hey everyone, today I’m going to point out one small detail about each killer, focusing mainly on their visual or sound design. Let’s get into it.
Chapter 23 has been released on the PTB! It's Sadako Rising, a licensed chapter releasing in March of 2022. The new killer is named The Onryō, and the new survivor, Yoichi Asakawa! Sadako's gameplay is really fun, and Yoichi's perks seem interesting. I'm looking forward to their release.

She actually has three names, but none of them are used in any film she is in Deep Throat is the scrapped name for her. The Fallen is the name the Hellraiser comics gave her. And Sister Cilice is the name Barbie Wilde (the actress who played her in Hellraiser 2) gave her. Personally, I call her Sister Cilice.

A detail I like : Pyramid Head is the only killer who received a nerf to his butt volume probably because it so distracting for survivors that they would run into objects during chases.

For wraith: you get a similar sound when tapping m2 since he rings the bell with the weapon. Can be useful for baiting dead hard. Hag: not positive but I thought she messed up her arm by pulling her wrist out of the shackles during her escape. Pinhead: the other name for the female cenobite is “deep-throat,” though I think that name was only used by the makeup team. Apparently it made the original actress so uncomfortable it was part of the reason she didn’t return for the sequel.

Another thing about the Oni, Oni’s are supposedly the demons and torturers in Jigoku, the Japanese version of hell. Well in the level for sinners who lied, Oni’s rip out their tongue, which promptly regrow only for them to be torn out again. But for Kazan, not only did he do this to the guy who defamed and lied about his name, but also to all the false samurai, aka liars

Fun fact: Pinhead didnt have a name in the first movie, he was referenced as Lead Cenobite in the credits with the female cenobite listed similarly as Female Cenobite

One fact you could've used for pyramid head is that in other killers blighted cosmetic you can see the blighted bottle in them but pyramid head needed 2 becasue he is so stronge

Actually it’s most likely PH blocked blight trying to inject him the first time. PH is more likely to protect himself since the entity has no control over him. Blight probably rushed PH, missed and tried again.

I remembered a detail you said in previous videos that Pyramid Head closes locker doors instead of slamming them like other Killers. Very subtle detail that is easily missed by some players.

With Cenobite, there's also an addon called "Engineer's Fang", Engineer being a creature responsible for guarding the halls of Hell and creating new Cenobites, even rarely joining other Cenobites to visit our dimension.

I don’t think he can talk fine, but he can definitely talk if the words are short and easy. He only says “S.T.A.R.S” because that’s his objective at the time. Nemesis was designed to be sold to the military as a weapon. He was only present in Raccoon City because Umbrella was testing his capabilities before manufacturing more.

i'd probably say the main interesting thing about pyramid head aside from him being the tallest killer, is how his sword sounds when he swings it, its the exact same sound practically just ported from silent hill 2. in addition, when pyramid head walks along metal in dbd, the sword screeches along the floor.

Nemesis' female zombie is known as Misty in the RE community because she looks similar to the Pokémon gym leader. Misty has appeared in some way or another in most of the main continuity RE games.

Clive Barker originally wanted to call the female cenobite "Deepthroat" but that was considered too vulgar. Barbie Wilde, who plays her in the second movie wrote a backstory for her and called her "Sister Cilice", though that is unofficial as far as I know

Pyramid Head also has an unused tongue model in the game files too. It's supposed to be the "tongue" from Silent Hill 2 that came out during James' first battle with him where if PH picks up and starts choking James', a visible tongue-like appendage comes out of a hole on his pyramid and just waves around.

@@SAR500 the survivor ash has a metal right hand, and clown’s mori cuts off a finger. To make it so the mori makes sense his left hang needs to be cut, so they made it so all male characters loose a left finger so the animation works for ash. Instead of making it a rule for a single character, they made it gender based. Hopefully I explained it where it kinda makes sense 😅

Fun fact the Scream movie wipe scene was added because in one scene there would be blood and the next none so to keep consistency and basically not be one of the film mistakes they added the wipe later on in the making of the movie

Another fun fact about Nemesis: not only is his overcoat designed to withstand damage, but it also functions as a power limiter. If it’s destroyed or damaged, Nemesis (and other Tyrants) would mutate uncontrollably. Edit: Also, his suits NEEDS to withstand damage, because Tyrants actually mutate based off of how much damage they receive.

Amazed that you didn't mention how the Executioner is actually stealing the entity's food. To my knowledge, it only can feed upon emotions during hook phases. The Executioner denies it that with the ability to cage survivors or outright kill them without a Mori.

Interesting fact about pyramid head: His 2 egg add ons are supposed to be representations of Maria and Mary from Silent Hill 2. With Mary, a sick and dying woman being represented as the rust colored egg, and Maria, a young beautiful woman represented by the clean scarlet egg. There's even quotes from them on both the egg addon's.

The blight actually has 2 vault animations one while vaulting g normally and he vaults like a survivor but when he vaults from a high vault he puts his feet on the vault and looks down first before vaulting

I recently started to watch the "From dusk till dawn" TV show (based on the movie) on Netflix and in it Seth finds/makes a spear gun which is nearly exactly the same as "The Redeemer" that The Deathslinger uses, only difference seems to be that one has a wooden stake and Deathslingers one is metal. Just wanted to point that out coz I thought it was pretty cool lol

I always took that as more of a reference to how the first few RE games had a dude say "RESIDENT.... EVIL" in a deep, growly voice, when the player hit start. Rather than Nemesis saying it. It didn't sound like Nemesis to me, not even mole man. XD

Old video but I wanted to know what you said about nurse and your slightly off. If I recall the nurse does in fact have stridor which she got from setting crotus prenn on fire after she killed everyone. Her taking a breath before blinking is her preparing for the immense pain she suffers by using the blink as she's essentially tearing through space time by briefly using the power of Spencer's breath to force herself into the spirit world. Blinking is very painful for the nurse which is why she always shrieks after blinking

I just figured this out really recently, but a cool thing that's attention to detail, is that when you're making a trap as the Hag, if you get stunned in the middle of doing it, the progress you made on the trap will still be on the ground.

I think it be cool if you about to do a mori on someone who has the box Pin head would take the box and the other cenobites appeared with Pin head saying. Pin: The Box you opened it we came! That be a cool reference to the movie

Fun fact, originally the cenobites didn't have names, they were named by the fans after the movie came out. Simon Bamford - who played Butterball - once showed me an original script and his character was simply listed as "fat cenobite". The original idea was that the cenobites were not the real monsters/villains of the piece and that it was actually Julia who was the franchise antagonist with Frank coming in a close second. The only reason that changed was due to producers seeing how people reacted to the first two movies.

I could be wrong with this but the Blight's Halloween event cosmetic depicts the tenticle/claw components and a similar canker on his back. This could likely mean the more Blighted serum that's injected into someone transforms them into what we can assume is the creatures located within the entity's realm.

The original name for the female cenobite was deep throat. That name was cut (it was too sexual, even for them) but it’s still the name most use for her

It's probably been said already but in the credits of Hellraiser the female cenobite is literally just called "female cenobite". Fun fact, Pinhead was called simply "Lead Cenobite" in the credits, along with Chatterer being "Chattering Cenobite" and Butterball being "Butterball Cenobite"

It isn't just legion that has fully rendered faces. Both pig and trapper also have fully rendered faces. Pigs face is the scarier of the two with pure white undead eyes.
