If you are not the best Actor of all time, then You invested *SO.* *MUCH.* Time and Breathe into watching this Game, the Anxiety must be really unhealthy in the long run. You seem so stressed out. At least take part in Alpha Two, whenever that may be.
I'm good with the delay. I got too much going on right now and kids too young to ever dedicate myself to this game. Just give me something to play with like a character creator and skill builder and I'll theorycraft for a couple years till my youngest is 6!
They could do what Dragons Dogma 2 did and release the character creator 2 weeks out from A2 as a separate application. DD2 also had some content creators run contests and the best ones were included as pawns in the game. Could do the same for Ashes but with NPCs!
I'm hyped about the Bard, the design of support classes and healers tell you a lot about the game and how the designers intend for players to work together.
I expect that the shared server hardware tech for each virtual realm server, means that they are going to need at least 2-3 test realms populated in the Alpha test, so that the hardware/software allocation process can be properly tested. That may be the reason for the additional testers. So your concern at 3:00 is IMO unjustified. Alpha 2, is not a content test, it is a functionality test, there will still be a few placeholders and unfinished classes, they are not testing content. The full content test is Beta 1. Beta 2 is then the balancing, fine tuning, and go-live test.

At the end of the day, if the game is 1/2 the game classic WoW was with moderately ethical management and some archeage systems inserted im willing to wait until 2077
not gonna happen... ethical and management really do not go together. Also, they appear to be self sabotaging their game; making it way too favourable for large guilds (which will be the devs themselves), and they do not seem to be considering making the game actually playable for a larger playerbase
@@Langharig_Tuig Im not aware of all intrepid decisions, maybe they have sabotaged themselves maybe not. At this point (alpha) mechanics are introduces tuning happens in after alpha, now its more like a "integrating" stage. But outside of this situation ethical and management can and do go together. It all changes depending on the country, culture, type of organization, etc. If in your country the norm is a more unethical management that is not proof of it being better or that it is incompatible to integrate both, its just not the way its done but it does not imply anything else. Data on organizations and guidelines (Industrial, organizational/occupational psychology, engineering in bussiness administratation, engineering in human resources, etc) usually points to more ethical and positive enviroments that leads to better performance, less rotation, less quitting, less psychosocial and workplace related psychological risks.
@3:40 also as a good practice, there is this long standing tradition on MMOs to have major server issues on the firsts days of alphas, betas and launchs. If they are testing the number of players that is fine by me, hopefully a practice they will keep moving forward. Edit: a big downside of server issues on a release is that even if its fixed fast the PR problem will happen either way. Reddit, twitter, youtube comments/threads can have a negative impact on the game's reception in a broader audience.
Hey I'm there with you I was loving the thought in the matter if it's during this next stream or even 3 months out, I trust after last time that they've learned not to give dates unless there's certain so I'll Trust whatever date they say in the meantime I have plenty of games to still play as a wait😉👍
Just letting you know, those 1000 invites were not sent to anyone. There is no spot test. They are hiding behind NDAs so you cannot see that barely any of the game has been created.
Yes, maybe they wanted a better quality video so they had to do another take, or they found a bug during recording and they have to fix the bug and then do another take. Or maybe some assets are not ready to be shown to the public (not polished enough, or Steven not happy with the current state).
i started following this game couple of years ago, now i have 2 years old son, maybe they should delay this game for couple more years so i have enough time to play this game

with the Bard reveal being a big deal for so many people, not to mention the fact that a lot of people will be casting an additionally judgemental eye over any footage as we get ever closer to A2, I'd rather see them drag the date out a little bit, in order to ensure they're happy with how well things are looking
Alphas stack their content testing they don't just dump everything at one and since they said this will be a true alpha you better except that there will be many bugs that will be needed to be reported with step by step instructions on how to reproduce them, I can tell so many of you have no idea what a true alpha is and what is required of you as a tester. This is one game I will avoid testing as running through the same content over and over for years in a fantasy game will ruin it for me; and the reason they are selling keys is that so many people are going to quit the testing phase very quickly once they get a taste of how monotonous and buggy it will be as it takes a special kind of personality to deal with it and basically work as a free employee for them.
I.... don't want to know everything that in Alpha 2. Sure tell me what classes, professions, and systems are incomplete, but let me find out for myself how content populous things are
I am willing to forgive a lot as long as the game is good. I am not hyped anymore since it has been so long. And there is plenty of other amazing games to play if this one fails.
personally i dont care about a manifesto, just let us actually discover whats going to be in the A2, thats the whole point of an MMO, to explore and discover.....These takes are getting worse and worse Narc, not going to lie. I know it means more content for your channel, but you need to think big picture. If you know everything going into the A2, not only does it spike expectations, but also a much larger chance at both disappointment and burn out when nothing is surprising or exciting. I even wish they would have kept the Bard a secret and let people discover it when they go into the A2
