I sensed something behind me, I tried to turn but it was to late, I opened my eyes, the battle field had turns white with snow. “You must be strong.” They had said. I glance down, the ground before me was red with my own blood. “You must be smart.” They had said. We stood ready as soldiers. Ready for a war, that could be won; but a war none the less. Two brothers, standing side by side. Two brother's who had at once, fought over the same woman back home. Now having seen them happy, I stand proudly beside my younger brother. Soon to be father. "Are you ready?" He smiles at me. The same half smile that he had always done. As the war rages, the world freezes and then stands still. Bodies falling all around us; but me and my brother stayed back to back fighting together, protecting each other. One wrong move. One attack. I was hit from the side, falling hard as my brother looked on. This was it. I knew my brother was going to watch me die. Suddenly he pulled me back to my feet. "We are in this together." He laughed. I saw it then. The arrows in the sky, falling right to us. My brother had been the one to knock me down. One final way to protect me. He took the arrows that were meant for me. "No! Cade!" He fell to his knees as the world around us disappeared. "No..you can't give up. You have to fight. Stay with me." My brother looked at me and smiled. Blood beginning to fall from him. "Go home. Protect her and the baby." I shook my head slowly, tears falling from my face. "A battle here is won, but not without a cost." I gathered him in my arms, his head resting on my shoulder. A battle has it's costs. We fought together; but I would carry on with him in my heart as he would lay here in the snow with the others who died and would be remembered for their sacrifice. A tale I will tell his son one day. The tale of his father. My brother. A hero who saved me in more ways than one. In that one moment we had left. The battle around us, our lives back home. The hope for a future. Pulling the arrows from his back, laying him gently down, a smile formed on his now cold face. "Thank you brother." In that last moment, a life lost as another born.
In his last instant of lucidity, fighting the pain not to pass out, your friend managed to whisper: "Hey, buddy, could you promise me something?" "Y-yeah, sure, I'll do as you please, but don't exert yours -" "Shush, listen to me, promise me you won't give up on living, on enjoying life, on feeling happy, on seeing new lands and meeting new people, ... *Cough cough* ...Just cus I won't be around anymore... " You were standing there, on your knees, his head resting in your hand on your lap, silent tears running down your beautiful cheeks as you heard him breathing heavily. "You tought I didn't notice the cuts on your wrist? Hey, don't make that face, please... You know, death won't have the pain go away, it'll just make you cowardly burden those who love you with it." He sighed and took a moment to think about his words. "I don't ask you to be as strong as I'd be, of course..." he commented with his usual mocking smile you couldn't stand when you had first met him, all these years ago. But now, it just seemed bitter sweet. "Look, I just ask you not to force other people to be desperate for such strenght..." he continued, his face returning to a more serious expression. "No, no, you... You can't abandon me, please..! God..." Your voice cracked and you continued in a whisper: "I had found a home wherever you were, warmt whenever you smilled, hope in your ever shinning eyes, a reason to strive in your dreams... And a family whenever I thought of you." A painful silence followed as your words echoed in your own head, only interupted by the breeze flowing through the trees, indifferent to the suffering of the ones they sheltered. "...Life is indeed cruel... Almost just as much as my dad's belt, haha -Argh!" He said holding his wound before coninuing: "If you fear my death so bad, just let me live in your wonderful heart, my friend... Oh well, I feel the clock ticking down, calling for me. Hm, in the end, I'll have asked you for two favors instead of only one, I guess I do have always been greedy... Farewell, brother/sister, I'll repay you all the money I owe you in the next life." "...So please don't die too soon, (your name)..." In his last breath, he finished his sentence before he closed his eyes for a final peaceful and eternal rest. When he stopped breathing, you were holding him in your arms, and he had his usual all at once charismatic, loving, loyal, peaceful and carefree smile on his lips. You finally let go of his body which you lay resting on a pine's trunk. He looked like he was taking a nap and would awaken to tell you about his dream just after making a snarky comment on your sad face. You looked down and saw your hands red of blood, but you knew they should have been blue from noble blood. ... Just for once, you missed his annoying bad jokes, at least, they would have filled the silence. Now, there was only the cold wind blowing through the snowey valley to be heard alongside your cries of despair. When the sun finally rose above the forests, you stared at the scenery and contemplated the sky bleed over it, and it didn't seemed all that beautiful anymore... -[A character I created inspired by this music.] (To you who read this, I trully wish you the most wonderful of days, I hope you enjoyed the read and hopefully you understood the meaning of what "your" friend wanted to tell you. Despite the hardships you face, life is still valuable, and even if to you, yours has become worthless, people around you care, and for as little as it may mean, I will care for you if no one else does. Enjoy life, live each day fully, and make sure to take note of at least one nice thing that happened to you during the day, and I hope you can fall asleep with a smile, just like "him"... Take care!)

Laying on his back, lips stained with the blood coming out of his mouth, Owen looked up and smiled; His partner Iris was grimacing in an agony beyond physical understanding. Iris knew this was goodbye and yet he couldn't bring himself to utter the words "Stop looking at me like that" Owen said smiling up at his friend who answered, "How else am I supposed to look at you, you idiot!?" but Owen only laughed light-heartedly, cringing slightly in pain as another cough racked through his body. "With a smile" Owen answered "We lived a long time together, but my time is up. So, smile for those moments may be over but your life has bearly begun. Go on adventures, see the world for all its beauty, find someone who you can love for the rest of your life; I don't care, just live." iris looked down face contorting to a look of pain "How when you were my life?" Owen looked up at him giving him a sad smile now "By allowing me to still be your life, but my life, my light will be shining through you instead of being a physical manifestation." Iris looked at him silently for a few moments before silently uttering "okay..." Owen seeming pleased with that answer reached up quietly and touched his face, breath shuddering slightly as his heartbeat faded. The world was for the first time silent except for the defending cry of iris's heartbreaking.

He gets down on 1 knee and puts his fist on the ground, but suddenly gets flashbacks of his family, and sad moments. He looks towards the army... Suddenly one eye turns red the other yellow. he looks down at a picture of his family.... Suddenly fire wings pop out of his back. He moves his left foot back... He goes 100mph in 1sec. I really wish they would also delete all the likes, because there are too many people who will do or say anything to get likes and sometimes even do dangerous things.
