Product Development Manager José overviews KiloVault's largest home lithium battery yet. At nearly 20kWh of energy storage this battery can provide serious backup power when used with home inverters from Sol-Ark, Schneider, Outback Power and others.
While the "rated capacity" of other deep-cycle batteries usually oversells their true potential for energy storage, the HAB-XL provides its full rated capacity of 19.2 kWh (400 amp-hours) of usable energy storage in a single 48V battery.
One HAB-XL Battery is enough for a typical single-family home (no need for extra cables and balancing between multiple batteries in a bank!), but up to 20 can be connected in parallel to bring up to 384 kWh of power to commercial and industrial operations.
