I have that exact same torch valve brand new and it has never worked right since the day I bought it. It just doesn't make sense to me. I use a Bic lighter to light it and it lights up good but the second I move the lighter away the torch goes out. So as I continually try to light it I'm just wasting gas. I've pulled it apart cleaned it. Actually got it to sort of work once. But it's back to not working again. What doesn't make sense to me is the bit inside the flame chamber that screws into the end of the barrel has no hole in it, a rubber seal on it as well. So my question is, is that right is that how it's supposed to be, and if not then why does it flame on when I put a lighter to it. I know the gas is coming out, I can hear it, so why does it stop when I take the lighter away. Please help I'm at the end of my teather with this thing, I need it for my business but it just doesn't work or I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I don't know which,

That's the nozzle I have nothing fancy. When the torch is lit and I point it down it goes out.?

Is the torch supposed to shut off when in a horizontal position?

I used mine 3 times and now it won’t start. Changed the cylinder and still won’t start. You can hear the propane but it won’t light with the igniter nor a lighter.😊
