In 2012 I went to Osaka castle with a family friend. We were walking through the south west garden when I was accosted by the most violent raven I've even encountered. I've never feared for my life as much as I did in that moment. It was no ordinary raven. This was a boss raven. It had a scar over it's right eye and I'm 90% sure it was smoking a cigarette.

Everytime I watch your videos made in this style, I just get these overwhelming emotions I haven’t felt anywhere else, it’s unexplainable, like a sadness that I can’t be there to experience it in person, but an immense joy that it exists, you just put everything together so elegantly.

Even worse is how much the banking cartel is depleting from Japan in the form of "financial aid" turned into never ending debt. Japan even more in the hole than america is per GDP. USA debt is highest, but so is our GDP.

I just love watching these videos exploring different regions and cities of Japan. Thank you for all you do. I'm about to interview for the JET Program as a CIR in the coming weeks, and I can't be more excited to possibly be going to Japan. I've been so enamored with the country for its long history, traditional culture, and beautiful land since I was 13, so finally getting to go at 31 will be a dream come true. I can't wait to visit these places in person one day.

My grandpa doesn't remember much now, due to his age, but when I asked him about how he used to be a pilot, his face lit up and he said "Yes I've flown a plane. Just beautiful." We talked about the clouds. On my flight to go visit and take care of him for a while, was the first time I ever saw myself above the clouds, that I can remember. I know I flew with him when I was younger (about 6 years old) & told him it looked like the ending to Willy Wonka, but I remember that more like a small photo reel in my brain. To see the clouds and all the world from above in the day, was lovely. I want to fly one day, like you and him.

For the bags of gravel in Sapporo, they're definitely there in winter (I've only been in Hokkaido during the winter only). I've also seen something similar in nearby Otaru, except they have crushed shellfish shells. It's a smart system to help people not slip as much on the roads during winter!
