Love this guard!! He's not afraid to tell people they are too close or touching the reins. Even with the No Shout Rule!! Your friend, the Retired Paramedic and Horse Trainer in Ontario, Canada, Jenn 💖 🇨🇦
This guard is no nonsense. He's definitely defining his and his gorgeous horse space. If his powerful voice and actions don't move you, he and his horse will. Sure wish the other guards would do the same. Some are just too passive. Thank you for capturing this brilliant guard Buska
People are so dense!! What’s with having to get right up against the horse and or guard? The rules need to change. Why is this a tourist attraction when it is a working unit of the military? I don’t understand why the nonsense is tolerated.
WELL DONE, THAT GUARD. These visitors have NO Idea about keeping everyone Safe. Guards should not be expected to play Teacher and Nanny to these Totally Careless tourists. 🇬🇧
All the guards should do this and don’t let public get away with disrespecting them or the horses public need to now who is boss and the guards should not get repremanded for what they should do
O I love this guard hes just tells it as it is .the tourist are completely disrespectful of the Kings guard and his beautiful horse so protected of him .and they dont even read the signs and wonder why they get told
I like the one who just lets the horse bite whoever it wants to! And when one guy appeals to him because the horse has his jaws clamped around his arm , just shrugs!!😂 Horse bites can break bones, by the way.
Yeah and there are so many American horse owner posters on here commenting on the horses being badly trained & needing to be stopped nipping and to respect humans space lol. They somehow don't grasp that those guards leave their reins loose while knowing exactly what the horse will do; because they don't care & have probably come to detest 98% of tourists. They are covered by the warning signs, they don't give a sh*t. If they wanted to stop the horses nipping, they would! Yet 100 (usually American) "I own horses" posters have been unable to grasp something so basic.

NEVER PISS OFF THE KING’S LIFE GUARD or they are going to yell at you for being rude and disrespectful to them. It’s so annoying how the tourists are so dense about their behaviour.
This is how all the guards should be. Some of the guards don’t give a shit and let the people pet the horse, grab the reins, and just act disinterested. Get those guards out of there, they’re not doing their jobs! Some people will say that I’m a jerk for saying that but they’re just a bunch of wussies and bleeding heart people.
Like when? I’ve seen the odd occasion where they may not have noticed someone grabbing the rein……remember, from the saddle your view directly ahead is blocked by a rather large horses head. Also when they get a whole load of people suddenly appear from nowhere, they can be momentarily overwhelmed by sheer numbers. Also remember that what you see as a guy sitting on a horse, is in fact a guy AND a horse, both reacting to each other, the trooper constantly aware of what his mount is doing, and more importantly aware of signals of what he’s GOING to do. It’s like driving a truck and trailer unit through a crowd……you’re constantly adjusting, constantly looking, constantly aware. And sometimes this means something might get missed, because attention is taken elsewhere. Also many of them have a sense of discretion, and they won’t yell at a little old lady for example, tho they WILL tell her off…..just because they’re not bellowing doesn’t mean they “don’t give a 💩”
I agree if I saw you and your horse I would just pay you a compliment on your horses beauty as I love horses and that would be it I would look but not touch
They all need to do this. The constant touching the horses, grabbing at them has to stop. There needs to be a painted barrier, around the opening and a sign that says, Do NOT cross the line or, you will be charged with trespassing.
I still think that the tourists should have to stay behind a fence and not be able to come in contact with the Guards and the horses. I'll bet they dread having to put up with these people every day.
Well done Kings Guard... The abuse the ridicule these soldiers have to endure is a disgrace. They are serving soldiers! If tourists did this in another country, they'd be arrested.
They have new signs and these terrible tourists continue to ignore them. They don't care that they are stressing the Guards and the horses. Sad I really respect this Guard!
Yes, this is the way all guards should respond, so as, to give out the right message to the world, that ya don't touch, or crowd the King's Guards Horses ... Bravo to this guard, and his horsemanship skills to 👏
Buska…I haven’t seen this guard lately. Has he transferred to another post or maybe he served his time and moved on with his life?? It would be nice to know. Thank you for your great work!
I really like this Kingsguard. He immediately reprimands the tourists and gets his way. And he loves the horses on which he does his work. He doesn't let anything burn in the tunnel or in the arches. Great young man ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
They've stood there for centuries; why should military tradition be thrown away due to clueless, bad mannered tourists? I do think there needs to be an "exclusion zone," though ... As much as possible with it being a public pavement/footpath.
