he's the isht? not on his own... i doubt they were intended to fight alone - i am afraid even a hyena would seriously fvck this gorgeous dog up, let alone something like a leopard or, god forbid, a lion
I Love this Breed!...Unfortunately, People are breeding them Shorter, wider, heavier and with ridiculously Big Heads. The problem with this is that the Dog Grows very big...Very Fast, and the joints don't have time to develop and they have Displaysia before they are even fully Grown! This Stud is a Specimen!...Heavy Head and chest, but a nice lean and long ribcage. One other pertinent problem is that they have Straight Stifles which makes for a weak rear-end which is the Drive train of this Amazing Dog! They need a much Rounder Stifle. But this guy is still something to look at!
The poor angulation in the back legs is actually a feature, it keeps them in one spot and it is also less likely to back down from conflict because of its lack of ability to run.
My male Zeus was 216#s at his heaviest (right after he was neutered) I usually tried to keep him slim at 183#s. He was out of blackwells boerboels in Oklahoma. Looks very similar to this incredible male
I miss being able to rough house with the hounds! We have smaller ones now... I dont like the yapping. Miss hearing a real Bark! Still love em all though!
