But with the fans, others do it way better, also that's just technology? Someone makes a shit thing with a good concept, bigger companies make really good versions of it, that's what has happened with these fans, they made a decent product with a good concept, then corsair made it amazing and so much better and easier
@@furioustester4056 You are talking about the Corsair that makes the super expensive fans that requires you to have a controller hub and use their own iCUE software? Yeah no one should buy corsair fans, there are way better alternatives.
@@Gamer-co5kl even so the 3 pack also includes a fan controller. corsair charges you 80$ for the controller alone so it's actually a pretty cheap deal.
I just got them. They have a 5 pack too so I got 8. I actually bought a 10 fan controller too but I should’ve read more cause I didn’t need it. These are completely different plugs and everything and they turn 10 wires into 2-3 so there’s almost no cable management involved. These things really cleaned up my build immensely and super easy to use the software.
I'm gonna be putting these in my Asrock Taichi build once sales start popping up again. I missed the recent round of them because I was not ready with my build concept yet.
I like the infinity version more from a visual perspective and they' perform better as casefans. The SL120 V2's are better when you use them on a radiator though.
How big of a difference??? If it’s like a pretty big temp difference I’ll go with the v2. But if it’s pretty minimal I’ll stick with the good looks of the inf
@@beaup314 I have the SL120 and 140 V2's installed as casefans. I didnt trust them to run cool ánd quiet on my radiator since the 7800X3D is quite a hothead. The AIO has 3x be quiet! Silent Wings 4 to keep it cool, but more importantly, very silent during gaming. I uploaded pics of it on my channel if you're interested.
@@bemindful924and those be quiets keep the temps down too? Thanks for the advice I will definitely go with those then because I am quite sensitive when it comes to the temp my tech runs at
@@beaup314 The GPU stays between 36 and 41 while the CPU's temperature ranges between 50 and 60 during long sessions of Diablo 4. It's quiet enough to listen to ASMR without any fan noise. The reason why the GPU stays so low is because of the 2 SL 140 Lian Li's underneath the GPU directly cooling it at low speeds.
My h6 flow case stuffed with these badboys tho i wish i knew about reversed flow ones 🤦♂️ looks amazing tho all blue and green! Getting 2 140mm in the bottom was hard i has to bend the metal n remove some rubber aha, the front ones as well i removed as much as possibe but the clip for the front coulnt quite fit so i filled the gap with some white tac. The fan grill is black can cant even see its a rig up job lol Got a ryzen 7 5800x3d, asus tuf oc 4070ti super white, 32gb ddr4 ram set up only just getting into pc building, i took advice from a budget bulilder and went am4! Got the best cpu for it but i wish i understood the whole am4 am5 thing a bit better. I want that faster ram aha, its all gravy tho runnin most games maxed out 4k so im happy for now aha Over clocked my gpu to 3000mhz yesterday its a beast!
I’ve always had a terrible experience using lian li’s L-Connect software. I’ve got 2 sets of 3 in my pc and while they’re cool and flashy, kinda wish I went with something else
Great fan, but the most user unfriendly eco system ever. Trying to figure out exactly what I needed to run my 140 TL Lcd single packs, with my SL V1 Inf reverse blades was a confusing nightmare. Now, since I have 2 Controllers, and 3 seperate cable strings, I have MORE cables in my case than before.
i just spent over £300 on lian lio aio and uni inf fans. its weird how they all have different speed and they dont do the white and silver fans i wanted in 360 aio so i went with matching uni inf fans.
I smoked my led on my lian li fans, because I forgot to use that 20 dollar fan hub and I am not going to buy a new fan or fan hub because it's darn expensive😭
The controller burnt out on mine and god forbid Li Lian sell the controller separately instead of forcing my to buy another set of 3 just to get a new controller
As I don’t have an ARGB 3 pin 5v header on my motherboard am I able to use them via the deep cool ARGB to rgb hub powered by sata and control them with software that way?
Bullshit, I purchased 9 of them in early 2022, in Jan 2024, 7 of them RGB light turned to yellow (dead LED) and 1 of them has dead bearings and makes a terrible noise. For the price, it is a very bad operation
Y'all all being fooled🎉 by those ARGB light while sacrifice true airflow of the fan. The blade actually 100mm in size. better get older Lian li fan with true 120mm blade 😂😂😂
Pointless for me as I haven't had my pc in a prison for over 3 years. And, apart from my graphics card my pc is fanless. Not even a cpu fan. Just a Noctua heat sink. Never had any problems. Never seen the point of a case.
Hi can you assist me I have the Nzxt aio and these fans and I've plugged the pwm directly into the Nzxt pwm header off of the CPu pump. The fans only spin when I have Nzxt installed is this correct? Also did you plug the lian li into "sync" on controller for RGB? I can't get any RGB on any fans plugged into controller or anywhere. And the case fans seperate to the aio ones spinning only at ful speed
