One of the best roads in West Virginia is known to few 

Great roads all over that area. Big thing to remember though is to be careful and either let someone know exactly where you are going, or take a couple of friends along. Cell service can be very sketchy and help can be a long way away. Hint for the WV mountain roads, most north/south roads run the valleys and east/west roads cross the mountains with some serious elevation changes and curves. Stay safe and enjoy!

Smokehole looked like a cool ride. I can see why you made the comparison to some of the roads out west. Relaxing ride when the road runs along with the river.

As a bicycle rider, non motorized, I like your attitude and respect for the local people. While I see this scenery at speeds around 15-25 MPH, I still like to give respect to earn it. I am a lifelong WV person who seeks out roads like this.... Your video was excellent.

Actually, motorcyclists have been privy to Smokehole Rd for quite a few years. Personally, I've been riding it for over 10 years, and I read about it even before then. Great area for riding. It's probably my favorite place, and I regularly ride everywhere between FL and PA.

I love West Virginia roads. But I love West Virginia trails more.

I just rode to the little Graves on barkers ridge. Rude was awsome twisty as hell up and down mountains beautiful veiws and it's not far from Charleston West Virginia just south of it if you use Google Maps you'll find it

Amazing the mileage, you're getting out of the "darkside". What size/brand was it again? It's tempting me but I worry it will not perform adequately enough on the trails. Love riding that area you showed - so much nice riding. South of Upper track is equally as nice as is east of 220 CR's 9 and 14 between Moorefield and Franklin. I live near Massanutten Mtn and it's nice to have all this awesome riding in my backyard. Your cynicism makes for great content - verbalizing what many of us think when we ride - ha - ha-:)
