Sadly, Lydia literally knocked Portia Woodman out in the Final. People whinging about the red card. It was Portia and the fans that were robbed of seeing her play the full 80 minutes. Who knows what tries she could of finished. Thankfully there were other secret weapons in the BFs.

Yes. Lydia Thompson... with her head. That's the only way England could think of stopping Woodman-Wickliffe... just knock her out. It worked... Portia was stopped... but it still didn't win England the game. Such a cracking RWC final but forever left gutted that Portia didn't get to play (or remember) the whole world cup final. She was playing so so good and starting to carve through the Red Roses defence like butter. Such a shame.

We all know she's a absolute *freak with ball in hand,* but if there's one criticism I've notice creep into her game lately is, she *doesn't drive the shoulder* in on defense and instead "arm grabs." It doesn't happened when she tackles front on, more when she's crabbing across field n she's been found out couple times leading to Trys, DCD will win this! *DISCIPLINE COMPOSURE DEFENSE!!*
