I was about to comment this. Yvonne Craig died and if they recasted her it would be wrong. I know that they recasted the rogues, but in all fairness the tv show also recasted them, catwoman was played by 3 different actrees and Riddler by 2 (and all of the rogues were played by doubles in the penultimate episode), so it feels a little less disrespectufull, also the recasted rogue characters (and all recasted characters with a few exceptions) barely were voiced at least in comparison to the level that returning actors like Newmar, West and Ward, so to have batgirl in there being mostly silent and talking ocassionaly feels weird.

I regret that we never got him playing The Dark Knight Returns Batman or any other type of serious Batman I like the 60 show but Adam can do a serious Batman and I wish we got a story applying to him doing is serious Batman

Honestly I would love to have seen a third movie that tried to adapt more modern characters like Bane and Harley in the 60s style. Hey, at least we have the comic to explore those kind of ideas!

@@plantainsame2049 Probably the closest will get to that will be his rendition of the Grey Ghost in one of my favorite TAS episodes "Beware of the Grey Ghost". I would have given anything for Paul Dini to pen another episode given the villain reveal to be the lamest in the entire series who basically makes all adult toy collectors look bad. 😒But also would also give Adam a chance to a more somber tone Batman-like character with the GOAT himself. Even though Adam played an actor playing a superhero, he would get wrapped in a scenario where for once, his character plays the Grey Ghost for real in order to either save Kevin's Batman or solve a mystery that Kevin's Batman can't. Again, just a pipe dream.

@FUTUREDCUWARRIORLIFE To this day (I'm 47), I can still remember where I was sitting watching that episode at 10 in my parents bedroom Saturday Morning on ABC (For you Millennials reading this and younger, ABC had the exclusive broadcast rights for Hanna-Barbera's Superfriends back in the day on Saturday Mornings with earlier seasons playing weekday afternoons in syndication. Usually on "The Ted" [WTBS] or one of the local UHF stations). Okay back to the story, when it came on, I usually had the upstairs TV to myself so I wouldn't be bothered. I don't want to say I was freaked by what I saw but having never read the comics and only watched the Adam West version and the Filmation cartoon spin-off, I was completely clueless to Batman's origin story. Prior to that, my head cannon just assumed he was a millionaire who worked with the police as some type of special operations maverick "just because...." So when I saw "The Fear" on it's original broadcast, that was my first exposure to the original origin story. It's a good episode given the Standards and Practices they had to adhere to plus we hear Adam himself quote from one of the early comics: "Criminals are a superstitious cowardly lot. So my disguise must be able to strike terror into their hearts. I must be a creature of the night, black, terrible.." Detective Comics #33 written by THE Bill Finger. 😉 My only criticism, which came later, was it implied he did all his training "in house". His "world-tour" training I would not be privy to (again, did not read the comics growing up) until TAS hit the airwaves.

Richard Moll (aka Bull Shannon from Night Court). Just like Kevin's Batman and Mark's Joker, Richard's Two-Face is the GOAT of that character. And his origin story in TAS is considered the gold standard (Hence why I hated the Tommy Lee Jones origin version [same with Aaron Eckhart]).

@@jonathancook7616 That's it, Richard Moll's voice also contributed to make the TAS Two Face the best interpretation ever, his raspy whispering voice still gives me the chills.

George Reeves Superman had a cameo in one of the Batman 66 comics and there was even a comic book crossover between Batman 66 and Lynda Carter Wonder Woman from her late 70s TV show, would have been neat to see what the interaction between those three versions of the characters would have been like

There are actually two. The Return of the Caped Crusaders is the 1st movie in the series.
