Elisabeth J How wonderful! You must’ve had a wonderful great granddad!!! I remember this talk! Was it his last before he passed on? This brought tears to me, because of his age and the struggle he was having giving the talk and having Elder or President Nelson come up and stand and hold him... so very moving. And that was the pure love of Christ!

I know, right? We've started going back in groups of 30 and my biggest fear has been being noticed and asked to speak. I have a history of fainting and gastrointestinal distress when asked to do so. And sharing it over Zoom to those not in the chapel makes it worse. Camera....

aw it terrifies me. No, we dont have excuses. We have reasons that are most likely unsound. Our hardness on ourselves & fear. Fear of what is the question. When we allow jyst this kind of sweet spirit to guide us, we simply cannot NOT Speak. ❤

@@MSBowen-pk6ww Great Question. It is Because he is the only one to hold all the ordained keys that are the same as the Prophets of old. He is what is known as a Prophet, Seer and Revelator, which means the Lord works directly with him through Revaluation so the Prophet see’s, reveals, teaches and testifies of all the truths of the Jesus Christ for all mankind to know. He is called to serve the Lord as the Prophet for all the Lord’s children in this day. This is not his professional aspersions, he is a world renowned heart surgeon, this calling as the Prophet is a heavy responsibility and seriously demanding service, because he loves the Lord and loves his fellow man (and woman;), and wants us all to truly know the Lord.

@@MSBowen-pk6ww We have a hierarchy of leaders with bishops the first leaders (besides our parents) and are similar to pastors. Bishops are led by Stake Presidents, whose leaders are members of the Quorum of the Seventy, then the Twelve Apostles, then the Prophet, then The Lord Jesus Christ.

I wasn't there in person, but I remember watching it on TV and just praying that someone would hold him up. Heavenly Father answered many prayers that day when he Pres. Nelson stood up to help him.

@@MSBowen-pk6ww This is from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The structure of this church is the same as Christ's church when He was alive, with a prophet and 12 apostles.

@@MSBowen-pk6ww Apostles live today. Christ has once again called apostles to lead His church, as well as a prophet of God. Together they give us commandments and offer blessings from God for the great changes and challenges that are taking place in the world. I know this is true by the Spirit of the Holy Ghost, and you can as well by reading The Book of Mormon, Another Testiment of Jesus Christ, and praying to know of it's truth.

I hope that in that moment, as well as when President Monson was struggling during one of his October talks, they felt our prayers and support. I’m sure there were millions of us praying for them.

I have tremors like this. I understand how he felt. My son said," God chooses his Prophets and this was one reason God chose President Russell M. Nelson as our Prophet" God bless him.

President Nelson was a fantastic and admired physician. He did two of my fathers open heart surgeries. Unfortunately his third was done by somebody else and he passed away two weeks later. 😍❤ I miss my dad so much!!!

@@Mommabear2u2 yes, it is so hard to lose one to death. It hurts because of the temporary separation. But we are so blessed to have the plan of Salvation. For or oldest brother Jesus Christ and for the Gift of the Holy Ghost, and knowledge we have. We must continue to share it all our days. Families,, friends are forever!!

Yeah, I remember seeing this live and was very worried until Elder Nelson showed up!

Elder Nelson provided the physical support and yes I to remember praying for him. Watching this today knowing what happened allowed me to grasp the full beauty of both the word and the deed of this message.

Any idea why people get offended or angry? On the long run being and revealing your true self will touch others and help them to get to know, love and learn to be their true self as well. Often people are conditioned in a certain way and don't really know who they truly are. Encountering a person who is acting with strong faith can be difficult for someone who has been decieved into believing that they are someone who they are not. The many doubts and insecurities such person has will trigger a "fight" or "flight" response. Be patient and be your true self, now and always. Our ego wants to hold on to that which it is familliar with and will try to reject and fight against any believes that oppose and are not in line with our current believe system. To transition from your illusionary self to your true self can be a painful proces. Please remember that we're in this together. When you act with true faith your doubts will disappear sooner or later and you'll be able to look at the world and other beings differently. When we look at the world and other beings differently, our world and those who are "in" it will change as well. Thank you for taking the courage to express yourself.

Not everyone are willing to receive Christ's love even though his is a perfect love and so you shouldn't expect others to receive yours also. And no matter how imperfect your love may be nor how many people reject it, do not stop for the sake of those who will be helped by it. Being able to face rejection gracefully without holding back, is a virtue and is part of meekness.

Just do what you feel is right! ( In your heart). Draw closier unto the Lord, it is a process we all learn differently, for different reasons. God's love is so different then ours. But as we draw closier to Him, thru reading our scriptures, taking advantage of the talks on line. Praying our hearts out. Seeking closeness, understanding, strength. We will receive it, line upon line. A little here and their. Remember we are being pruned. Dont judge yourself so hard. Which might be one of the hardest thing, not to do. I know this be cause I am so hard on myself. We need to learn to deal with our lots. In the end we will understand the why's. Keep growing your on the greatest ride of your life..Remember God is always close by even in the smallest to largest details.

Remember that pride or an unclear conscience can often push us to push others away, who are trying to show us love. However, that same love can rescue those same prideful and guilt ridden people when the time is right; even if it means years down the road.

Bless those that curse you, pray for those who despitefully use you
