One People, One Nation, One Singapore 

It has been 6 years, but I still often watch this video. I’m a Singaporean born in the 90s, this is when Singapore has already advanced, clean and safe. It’s hard to believe that Singapore it’s a unsafe country in the 70s, there is thief, robbers, gangster, secret societies. Thank to Lee Kuan Yew, the greatest man of the era. He clean and wipe up the whole Singapore. Without him, we might not have a safe home to live in now. Thank you Lee Kuan Yew. I’ll be a good Singaporean. Thank you for everything that you created for us, for all our goods.

God rest his soul. Highest honor and respect for our far-sighted, upright and capable leader, Mr Lee Kuan Yew. Because of him, when I'm overseas, amongst foreigners from faraway places, I'm proud to say that I'm a Singaporean. Almost all have heard of us, heard of Mr Lee and have respect for our nation.

This is got to be the most beautiful rendition of this song. Especially the end of the opening line. Never fail to tear at this video clip. Even now.

It's hard to accept that LKY have passed away. I feel emotional even after so long when watching this video. I hope we will hold a memorial every year to remember him.
