Impossible to listen and watch this without the tears rolling down my cheeks.

A very touching rendition of the song indeed. The Singapore we have today, we owe it to the foresight & hard work of Mr. LKY. The lyrics of this song is so meaningful and it has been made even more so with passing on of our founding father. I am sure tears have welled up in eyes of many while listening to this song over the past few days. We as a nation have come together and sent off Mr. LKY in one way or another as he was never alone in the home he created for us citizens of Singapore. Let us remember what Mr. LKY has done for us and always remember to the Singapore we have today are the fruits of labor of the generations before us. Dear mr LKY, please rest in peace, you have done more than any of us could have asked for. You have more than fufilled your responsibility to the people of singapore and the many generations that have come. We will eternally be grateful to you and look to honour your legacy by taking this country further. Thank you for time on earth and for your time in singapore. A true great man of history.
