wtf when killed we got the engram from seasonal and death animation for boss and xp but it didn't revive us , just fking wiped us and gave end screen and we had to kill him again for emblem , so unfair bungie
@@marlonthomas2713we had nez jump off the map during final stand on our trio run 2 or so weeks after the raid came out. He tps back up and insta wiped us. Really demoralising after we had done the full raid up till them with 1 fail on explicator
I honestly really like the idea of the guardians dying, then Nezerac dying and the guardians being revived. Would have been funny if everyone dies at the end no matter what just to trick people for a few seconds.
me and my team's each day 1 raid, we've died to boss even after killing it (was very close each time with final stand), it now like a ritual thing for us tbh xD
What was the damage? from what i could tell it was 1 div, 1 gjally, 4 hotheads, pop 4 thundercrashes when out of heavy, then switch to merciless/another fusion rifle. Was that it?
Good shit. Bruh my team got to final stand, ran out of ammo, swapped to outbreak, got wiped while nezarec had like no hp left, and we had him die to outbreak siva DoT and get us the dub post mortem lol.
We actually died before we killed him, got the engram but it didn't count so we had to run it back. Got it because this raid is easy street, but at least for people actually doing roles, it's fun.
There aint to strats to it The only thing is maxing out your dmg We found out that sometimes the easy way to have a long dmg phase is if the boss is close to the platform where you want to do dmg on And then its all about dumping rockets Our scnd try was about 80% health with a bunch of auto loading, demo, clown rockets and one gally
My team got wiped like you guys here but also killed the boss, but it didn't count the kill for us, we were gutted ahaha got it done eventually though.
it's more of a pain to use alt loadouts than not sometimes since they save -everything-. if you make any adjustments to subclass or mods you have to do more work saving that to both loadouts than it is to just changing a few pieces, especially if you're rapidly iterating on your build
@@EdenPorterMusic I agree but if you do it in advance and just switch your load out it could be the difference between a dub and having to run it again just that small amount of time
@@planning9930 Good but not as good. They buffed Merciless so it's perk has a timer instead of disappearing after reloading meaning you can have a permanent 100 charge time
No it's hothead another D1 weapon that was brought due to being one of the most loved rockets in Destiny it's obtained from using Vanguard engrams the Adept version isn't ingame anymore however as it's no longer the rotational nightfall weapon.
Most of the time its a lack of preparation But another dude i know did it with 1 div and 5 thunderlords Maybe you can give this a try if you keep missing rockets
This is painful to watch. The exact same thing happened to my team - team wiped, Nezarec death animation happened, engram reward popped... but we ended up with a wipe screen instead of mission complete. Didn't get the contest mode clear.
That happened to me 3 times we killed him not in one phase but two or three tk be safe and he traded with us and we had to restart but yet we got the xp and engram smh we had to kill him 3 times before it actually registered
People used to say contest because Master was just grinding to the power level and when you did basically the only thing you had to worry about was the increase in champions but they added a -20 modifier which is the same as contest mode meaning it'll have more champions and contest mode essentially.
@@Xemo my team was not very good we couldn’t figure out how to survive the first blast if we didn’t get to damage phase spent hours on this and got nowhere. The bosses where hard everything else in this raid wasn’t that bad, still haven’t finished it though
idk how you guys do this. my teams always struggled on this and this is the final encounter before i get the emblem. which sucks cause this wouldve been my first day 1 clear.
Can guarantee you just need a better person breaking crit spots/holding his aggro. I sent 30 attempts with one group and the guy responsible for holding aggro was horrible. Cleared it on my first attempt with another group because buddy knew what he was doing
People say the boss needed more health, while I agree he would still get baked even with double health lol. We are just OP and mid max, double his health and this is still a 2 phase on contest soooooooooooooooo does it really matter? nope.
Stop judging based off the literal top 1% of fireteams making it look easy. Absolutely maximum load outs with mod stacking and sweaty players. This raid was right where it needed to be, challenging enough but it's manageable. Making content to the point where it's not even possible is about the dumbest thing you could do.
@@alexandervowles3518 well yes, but who said difficulty is bad? It's a raid, they should be challenging, especually during comtest mode, and it'd be nice to finally have a raid boss that can punish you for camping well, the only one who was able to do it was Rhulk, and that was only on day 1.
Just go for a good rocket or gl Something like bump in the night or palmira If erveryone use rockets make sure that one is om gally Should be ez to get high numbers I did 2,6m at nez with bump and fusion nades as warlock Big thanks to my gally user
Not me laying in bed watching y’all one phase this dude after staying up all night to get a contest mode clear and not getting it, making myself feel physically ill in the process. Must be a skill issue 😞
The boss hp is just lower than normal likely as a response to the people who hated boss encounters that were easy but relied on bosses with 30 million hp. As for normal enemies this is the normal hp it's just they buffed every enemy by like 6X and added a -10 modifier while contest is just a -20
